What I like most is the feeling of lightness it brings: almost nonexistent fees, easy onboarding through Coinbase, and an ecosystem full of life, with memecoins gaining traction, active DeFi, creative SocialFi, and NFTs with constant liquidity. Everything flows naturally without complications.
I have been following its organic growth and I am impressed with the balance: it is accessible for beginners but also attracts serious projects looking for real performance.
For me, @base represents what a good L2 should be: simple, fast, and full of opportunities.
If you haven't explored it yet, I recommend giving it a try. It has been one of the most pleasant chains to use.

How mump2p Keeps Data Propagating Despite Packet Loss
Packet loss is one of the most common challenges in distributed networks. When messages fail to reach some peers, traditional propagation methods often depend on retransmissions or specific message paths to recover the missing data.
mump2p takes a different approach through Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC).
Instead of forwarding only fixed message fragments, mump2p distributes coded shards that contain linear combinations of the original data. This means nodes do not need to receive particular shards in a specific order to recover a message.
As described in the Optimum documentation, a message can be reconstructed once a node collects enough linearly independent shards, even if some shards are lost during transmission.
This provides several advantages:
• Recovery remains possible despite packet loss
• Propagation can continue without waiting for specific missing shards
• Network performance becomes less dependent on individual transmission paths
• Data dissemination remains more resilient under adverse network conditions
mump2p also supports recoding, allowing intermediate nodes to generate new coded shards from the shards they already possess. As a result, useful information can continue spreading throughout the network without requiring complete message reconstruction at every hop.
Rather than relying on every shard arriving successfully, mump2p only requires enough linearly independent shards for reconstruction, helping maintain efficient and resilient data propagation even in lossy network environments.

The Power of Recoding in mump2p In traditional data propagation systems, nodes often need to receive a complete message before they can help distribute it further mump2p introduces a different approach through Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC). When a node receives coded shards of a message, it does not necessarily need the full message to contribute to propagation. Instead, it can generate new coded shards from the shards it already holds and forward them across the network. This process is known as recoding. Many people are familiar with the Action Model because of the concept of the Large Action Model (LAM) and AI that can act directly on the internet.
However, many still don't understand the actual role of the $LAM token in this ecosystem.
Therefore, I want to break it down into seven simple and easy-to-understand parts.
Let's start with the most basic question
First, What Makes $LAM Different?
In the crypto world, most tokens typically have functions such as:
• Trading
• Staking
• Governance
Their value often stops there.
But the Action Model introduces a different concept.
$LAM isn't just a token. $LAM is AI Fuel.
This means this token is used to power real-world AI activities.
When an AI Agent performs actions such as:
• Clicking a button
• Filling out a form
• Sending an email
• Uploading a file
Navigating a website
each of these actions consumes $LAM.
In other words, the AI works → $LAM is used.
This is the fundamental difference between $LAM and most other tokens.
While traditional tokens often rely on market activity and speculation, $LAM is designed to derive utility from the real work the AI performs.
