4/ the high quality benchmarks are required for the market to mature they are coordination layers, not just data products once a trusted benchmark emerges: - contracts reference it - forwards + futures appear - hedging becomes possible - capital flows in this is how you go from infrastructure to the asset class but to become widely recognised as a standard, one needs to put the work towards earning that trust how?

1/ excited to see steps to financialise the compute it all starts with a trusted benchmark and @Silicon_Data @OrnnExchange and @ComputeDesk are doing a great job on this front but my thesis is that the benchmark that will become a gold standard will be one that can instill institutional trust first how? - build the wider data contributor panel - perfect the methodology (data normalisation/weighting/treatment of outliers) - create a governance framework applying IOSCO principles and make it public (transparency builds trust) - become the reference point for major bilateral contracts - become the reference price used to settle forwards, swaps, and many derivative products - trillions

@SenorScience maybe the issue is we want to forcefully create one market from the place where there are many markets, as in why not to have a separate benchmark for training and for inference, with units of measurement that represent what the user wants to pay for?

the lazarus group radiant capital hacker turned $53m into $102m through active ETH swing trading over 18 months. sold 3,931 ETH at $4,726, bought back 5,001 ETH at $4,352. $2.76m profit on one trade. a north korean state operation is outperforming your portfolio. they used that war chest to fund a 6-month infiltration of drift. $1m "trust deposit" to compromise 2 of 5 multisig signers. pocket change from a $102m treasury. combined haul now sits at $387m in actively managed capital. radiant never recovered. $7.47m TVL. 96% token drawdown. delisted from binance. even YZi labs dumped 87.5m RDNT at a 96% loss. protocols do not come back from nation-state attacks. the drift playbook took 6 months of conference attendance and relationship building before execution. if they're running the same model on another protocol right now, we're in month 3 or 4 and nobody knows it. every multisig governance participant on every major lending protocol needs to be re-vetted yesterday

because nobody has made growth and freedom the actually top of political agenda that’s worth fighting for people who should be the most interested in that, such as the entrepreneurs are vary of funding political initiatives cause they’re scared of their reputation and funding laws in the EU are strict and complicated (eu level, the different national systems) the existing platforms are focused on publishing papers instead of building coalitions around growth that could become a movement capable of winning elections there needs to be a platform that will take growth and personal freedom as main policy points and push it both on eu level and in national states
