@LIRR 2/2. Like just do better. MetroNorth reminds people in person if they are talking on the phone. @LIRR trains are like the Wild West and it’s a bad look.
@1912 Good morning, we apologize for the frustrating experience. As information, the train crew will usually make announcements on the train if it has a quiet car. It is voluntary and is the first car during the AM rush and the last car in the PM rush, on single level trains only. ^SY
@LIRR I’m begging you. Please announce and ENFORCE the quiet car rules. It’s unbearable listening to 5 different people have phone conversations and deranged people listening to videos on speaker for an hour.
@LIRR I take the 6 pm train from grand central and it is very rarely, if ever even announced. It’s certainly not announced after ever stop for new people to hear. I don’t think I’ve ever heard it announced on the am rush train. No one even knows.
Maybe this is just my personal distaste for lifestyle influencers as a thing but like, everytime I go anywhere good, there are at least 3 people having someone take a million photos of them while they pretend to eat food or walk and it just makes me feel sad for them.
Apparently 1 in 4 Gen Z want to become an influencer, but they are also supposed to be all about work life balance? Do they not see that "influencing" is kind of like giving up you life for your job?
