I’m done hosting events in France. The event itself was great, builders showed up and the energy was great. Then the final session got shut down 3 hours early because security’s shift ended. Venue didn’t plan for longer despite communicating otherwise. This after Venue #1 cancelled at 7pm the night before due to a nearby construction site, forcing us to sign away all claims just to get a refund. We worked all night to find a venue and make the event work. The biggest damage fell on our partners @WhalesurfVPN and @Baltex, who both just launched new products and deserved that closing party.
