Game improvement starts with simulation of tournament pressure in practice. Compete with others or give yourself a realistic goal such as from 15 yds chip the ball <10 feet with with different clubs pick a trajectory and landing spot and use a tee to mark your landing spot

@chambleebrandel Yes when we played the average carry was 265 or there so. Tiger carried the well over 300 in his prime snd in fact his club-head speed was close to 130.

It’s just not true that one has to be amongst the longest hitters to make it on the PGA Tour. The average ball speed ranking of the current TOP 10 IN THE WORLD is 78.2, or just a little better than the tour average. Nor is it true that the majority of PGA Tour players carry the ball 300+ yards. The average carry distance on the PGA Tour is 286.4 yards. Indeed only 15 players have an average carry distance of 300 yards or more on the PGA Tour.

I had to finish the tournament this morning without my caddie, Kirk. He was suffering from intense back pain and spasms. He’s just about to get an MRI in the Newport area. Hopefully, the doctors will figure it out and he will feel better soon.
