@DombSy @Kate_L_Mosso No one other than Creg and @CosmosStag have made me think deeply about Bitcoin in entirety different and novel ways

@bsvsimp @___siggi___ 2 nodes ought to be enough for any blockchain. It’s still technically decentralized.

@AverageJohnXRP that site only displays pools with publicly available APIs it can scrape. the actual block distribution by mining pool looks very different

@johncalhooon @DevelopingZack part of it is slow legacy bsvnode monolith, teranode is supposed to be better on this issue

@1rootSV @DevelopingZack This game theory is very interesting honestly. Makes sense.
Maybe why Craig wanted to fill blocks before subsidy removed.
Chicken and egg problem.

WHAT THE 🤬 BSV?
I 💩on BTC for neutering Bitcoin by Iimiting itself 4mb
But the state of BSV really this is 🤬sad:
👉Forget about 4GB Blocks (1,000,000 x bigger)
👉Forget about 4MB Blocks (1.000 x bigger)
9 of 10 the latest blocks:
KB (kilobyte) sized
The 10th one was 1.42 MB half the cap BTC
A single iPhone photo is larger than
BSV's last 10 blocks combined.
It's 2:07 am mountain time (Denver)
I tried to broadcast transaction over two hours and 15 minutes ago
WHAT THE 🤬?

@johncalhooon @DevelopingZack if number and size of low-fee transactions are low, increased orphan risk is low. however if say there are 4GB/2 million+ low-fee txs in mempool, minority miner is at high risk of mining that block. majority node would probably find their own competing chaintip before validating
English

@1rootSV @DevelopingZack Damn I didn’t realize miners can bully other miners into not mining txs.
English

@DevelopingZack yes not ideal. if a minority miner were to mine all low-fee transactions they increase their orphan risk as the majority miners are rejecting low-fee transactions and would have to download all the low-fee stuff when a block is announced (instead of already knowing about it)

@davepl1968 cool but my autism says you should get a letsencrypt cert and serve that site over https, use a subdomain if you have to. if only for aesthetics

Never bet against an autistic guy working on his special interest.
It took me a solid six months, but I finally got my Tempest AI to play the game at a "master" level. By that I mean it can start at level 1, play to level 99, and keep going, all on "hard" game difficulty. It can't play indefinitely yet, but I'm working on it!
Here's a video of it playing through level 96, the hardest level in Tempest! You can monitor the live training here:

@JoeSchlubb I pushed some changes, hard refresh the app. you can now optionally see stats about the potential next block, toggle variable length of tx bars and change color scheme, and some improvements to rendering speed.
keep in mind transactions can ingress in bursts, not always smooth
