Man in Police Custody for Killing, Burying Girlfriend in Anambra A 33 year old man, Ifechukwu Okechukwu has been arrested over alleged murder and secret burial of his 23-year old girlfriend in Nkpor in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state. Police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga who disclosed this on Monday said the suspect was arrested following credible information from concerned members of the public. He said the suspect is being investigated. "Police Operatives attached to State Criminal Investigation Department have taken over the case and commenced detailed inquiries to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident and ensure that justice is served.
