@theliamnissan It won’t end until we stop calling them “shootings” and “shooters” and start holding gunMEN accountable.

Mass shooting reported about five blocks from my home. One dead, four injured. When will this madness stop. America needs responsible gun control, goddamn it

Happy Birthday to the legendary Orson Welles 🎬 From The Third Man to The Kremlin Letter — and even the chaotic 1967 Casino Royale — Welles left a unique mark on spy cinema. But what’s your favourite Welles performance?

It's actually very sad that no arrests were made from the epstein files and the witnesses keep disappearing one by one

🎶🎬Duran Duran released ‘A View to a Kill’ 41 years ago, May 6, 1985, eventually becoming the only Bond theme to ever hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Visually, the film’s opening title sequence, created by legendary title designer Maurice Binder, fuses icy espionage action with striking silhouettes and vibrant neon hues

So... just so we're clear... you want me to be afraid of trans women in the women's bathroom because they might be cis men pretending so they can assault women and children... and you think this reflects on... trans women... and not on cis men? Do I have this correct?

The wildest thing about gas prices going from $2.84 to $4.47 in just two months is that Donald Trump is mentioned over 38,000 times in the Epstein Files.

@DoubleODispatch The SWLM one is as legendary as poor Dolly's (lack of) braces and deserves its own thread, which I will get to later, I promise.

@3octaves That's Fleming's fault, I'm afraid. He had it in his head that women like that & actually said as much in more than 1 of his books, including, if I'm not mistaken, "The Spy Who Loved Me," which is even more egregious as he wrote it from a woman's perspective. The man was a ninny.

Abortion pills are nothing new, and BTW for most of history and around the world, abortion was not criminalized, and even when it was, it was often readily available, esp if you had money and were literate.

@3octaves I think it's just because the scene in the movie with him and Galore in the barn is just so off-putting...it's hard to imagine this wasn't from the book. People forget Connery also had a similar scene with Tippi Hedren in Hitchcock's "Marnie."

@DoubleODispatch The man had many faults, but was the directors’ screenwriters’ and the Scottish ruffian’s fault that JB r aped both Fearing and PG, since those scenes were not in Ian’s work.
