The worst take I have seen the last few days and its everywhere. "Well the Rams have to rely on a 38 year old Stafford and 33 year old Davante Adams" Which on its face is a fair point. However Stafford just won MVP and Adams just led the league in receiving TDs. So a rapid decline seems unlikely. But also 49ers fans can not bring this issue forward and then be confident in Trent, Evans, Kittle and CMC who are also older player's and have shown regression/injury at a much higher rate than the two Rams players mentioned.

Didn't realize this would cause a stir. This move is not related to signing Aaron Donald. They can keep up to 90 players on the offseason roster. Rams currently have 84. Guess is JLR requested to leave after the trade for Garrett for a better opportunity at a roster spot.

For this to be true, you’d need to treat Verse as equivalent to a Day 2 pick and ignore that Garrett’s contract is significantly more expensive
