The restaurant was in an untenable position. The governor and her friends had eaten, the bill was paid, and they were still lingering. The governor's security detail was approached and informed. The restaurant found itself in the uncomfortable position of not wanting to offend the governor while honoring its other guests. The governor and her guests were there for an hour and a half. This is a "poor me", divisive, manipulative media op.

Last week I was having lunch with two other moms at a restaurant when the owner approached a member of the State Police Executive Protection Detail and said my presence made their employees feel threatened and told us to leave. Arkansans are known for their warm hospitality, and while that restaurant didn’t meet that standard, my administration will continue to focus on lifting Arkansans up, not tearing others down.

Waterworld (1995) is over-hated. Strip away the budget jokes and what’s left is a huge, strange, ambitious adventure packed with real stunts and a fully built world. It’s messy, but there’s way more movie there than people remember.

I just listened to this album while working out. I could predict the next song as soon as one was finished. It's a nearly perfect record, from a bygone era. It totally reminded me of my youth, and how the last 35 years just flew by.

@Martyupnorth There was a professor at USC (maybe the cinema school?) who would take his classes out to find the locations of album covers, and recreate the shots. They did this album back in the 80's.

@ajcarrington1 @EastTNMama A simple rule of thumb: if it's at the beginning of the sentence, it's probably "...and I." At the end of the sentence it's probably going to be "...and me."

It has to still make sense when you remove the other person from the sentence. “My wife and I went” .… if you remove “my wife” it still sounds right, “I went…” But if it was “my wife and me”, then it wouldn’t make sense when you remove “my wife”, because you don’t say “me went”.

I just want people who are smart to stop saying “my wife and I” or “my husband and I” when it’s supposed to be me. This one is so very easy to fix. If you would say me you say my wife and me. —She and I went to work. He told my wife and me. I went to work. He told me. Let me help

@EastTNMama It's almost universal now. I hear it all the time from people who should know better.

@crazyclips_ I visited Vietnam in 2009 and they were selling these on the street. Those were obviously fake. I don't know about these but you can draw your own conclusions.

@dmbkparker Most people can't comprehend the simultaneous "both hands and both feet" coordination required to lift a conventional helicopter off the ground. But computers will probably make it a "just tell me where to go" sort of thing in the near future.

Clarity has been requested so here it is: 1. No previous helicopter / sim stick time. Any learning is watching or reading. 2. Takeoff to at least 10’ 3. Landing must not cause a major maintenance action (i.e. you can’t just dump and crash) Still think it’s doable?

@MathDailyHQ @Incognito_qfs The safety is not relevant. If you pull the trigger it should fire. If you don't want to fire, don't pull the trigger. If you don't have the discipline for that then the safety won't save you.

@Incognito_qfs If you plan on holding a weapon for any purpose other than shooting, make sure the safety is on. On top of that, do not aim it at anybody. The golden rule for handling any firearm is this: always treat it like it's loaded.

28 year old Pawan shot himself in the chest and died in Dallupura, Delhi. His cousin who was recording the video owned this gun. He was teaching Pawan how to use the gun. 🤦 Do not share your firearms with your friends and cousins to make reels. Life is more valuable than these 30 sec videos.
