If youth can accept giveaways from bandits, then what is rice from Politicians?
To be clear, it's not poverty; I doubt folks in Togo or Chad will ask folks that rape and kill for giveaways. How low are your morals that you are willing to accept cash from killers?
The youth in 234 have been traumatized and need serious therapy (and jobs). We see glimpses of it here on X where people are paid to say anything for a pittance.
There is no low bar; there is no self-respect, nothing. Just hunger.
Same nation is talking esoteric things like AI and foreign reserves while the youth, its future, are pushed to ask bandits for cash?
Na wah ooh

Let me say something.
I agree that the subsidy was a cancer, and I agree with President Tinubu for removing it.
But one thing the APC government has constantly failed to do is show prudence, empathy, accountability, and probity.
Nigerians cannot be suffering and living in fear of their safety daily, and we see elected government officials living in opulence and brazingly weaponizing poverty.
It's like adding salt to our injuries.
From how they display wealth, to even the convoy of elected officials and their arrogance, it shows that they do not see themselves as public servants.
Rather, they see themselves as messiahs who are not answerable to the citizens and can do anything and get away with it.
We have seen several politicians who have fraudulent cases to answer being welcomed to APC in particular, and their cases are no longer being pursued or prosecuted.
If you want Nigerians to endure the suffering, the least you can do as a government is to ensure the safety of their lives of almost non-existent properties.
And it must be reflected in the conduct and utterances of political office holders.
This is where the leaders get it wrong:
Displaying questionable wealth in the midst of poverty, and showing a lack of empathy.
Therefore, Nigerians have the right to be angry. And Nigerians have the right to reject a failed government.
You cannot lead us by force, and you must show readiness to conduct free and fair elections and commit to handing over power should you lose in that election.
Just as GEJ did.
The Nigerian presidency is not Tinubu's birthright, neither is APC the only political party, nor are their supporters the privileged citizens.
I am a legitimate taxpayer and a law-abiding citizen, and so are millions of us. And I fear for the future of my children.
End.

DEAR LOUD MOUTHED NIGERIANS, NOT EVERY UPDATE DESERVES A RING LIGHT.‼️
The fact that you have information does not mean you should set up a ring light and broadcast it to the world. In your desperate quest for clout and impressions, you have done more harm than good and most of you do not even know it.
Some information is sacred. The moment you turn a sensitive development into content, you have chosen engagement over consequence. You have chosen your analytics page over someone’s safety. People are suffering while you are busy chasing quote retweets. Sit down.
Your mouth is not a news channel. Stop treating every delicate update like your personal headline. Not everything you know is meant to be shared. Discretion used to be a virtue in this country. Now it is rare. Be rare.
And let this be clear that silence is not weakness. Some of the most dangerous people in Nigeria are not armed. They are loud. They leak. They “update” their followers in real time while putting lives and situations at risk. Your follower count is not worth that.
You are not a journalist. Stop performing like one. Real journalists understand source protection, timing and consequence. You just want the retweets. The difference between them and you is integrity and right now, yours is fully on display.
Loose lips have done more damage in this country than loose policies ever could. Before you post, before you go live, before you type that “just got an update” ask yourself one question…who does this protect and who does this expose? If the only beneficiary is your impressions dashboard, close the app and go to bed.
KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.
