We were deeply saddened to learn of Professor Sir David Goldberg's passing this week. He was a titan of social psychiatry, & designed the Clinical Interview Schedule & General Health Questionnaire, two vital measures of mental wellbeing, amongst many other achievements

A low-income community near Boston assigned individuals by lottery to receive a monthly cash benefit. Those who received the benefit had less use of the ED, particularly for behavioral health & substance use, and decreased hospital admissions from the ED. ja.ma/3LAS3hU
