Who else got their PS5 Pro before the price increases? Really lucked out because to get a PS5 Pro + GTA6 Ultimate Edition now would be like $1,000 before taxes. It was one of the reasons I got it at launch back in November 2024, I wanted to avoid the inevitable price hikes.

@FlyoutChase Inflation isn’t the whole picture, this would only be a fair point if wages had kept up with it, but they haven’t.

To put this in perspective: When GTA 5 came out in 2013, it cost $60 Inflation adjusted, that’s $86.31 in 2026 So in actuality, GTA 6 is cheaper than GTA 5

@ThatBlueFoxMike @Dexerto Game Pass does exist on PC but it if you are willing to pay for it on PC, then you have to acknowledge that there are other benefits.

@ThatBlueFoxMike @Dexerto The experience is still significantly different. I mentioned to another person that PS Plus & Game Pass come with loads of other benefits besides just online multiplayer for paid games. PS Plus Game Catalog/Monthly Games and Game Pass itself. Steam doesn't have that

On PC you do not need an extra subscription yes, but at least PS Plus & Game Pass aren't EXCLUSIVELY for multiplayer, they also have perks

@ThatBlueFoxMike @Dexerto I use PC and consoles, both extensively. I can see why some people would find PC suiting much better for their needs, but at the same time I can see why some people would find consoles suiting much better for their needs.

Halo Combat Evolved is getting backlash after releasing a six-hour video of the new main menu. The video shows a very detailed view of the big Halo ring floating in space. Most fans say the new graphics look too realistic and have too much detail, so the big Halo ring does not feel as huge and amazing as it did in the old game from 2001. In the old game, they used simple shapes and small details to make the ring look really big from far away.
