@PLOT_IS @UncleHuss1 oh for sure, i love csm a lot and i think its ending is better than its getting credit fo but i don't blame jjk fans for getting their potshots in, people were also harsh on their favorite story and csm fans weren't fair to them

Nobaras was a 100x worse lol It was so bad that it almost ruined JJK for me

@PLOT_IS @UncleHuss1 sure, because gege said so, he wrote it so nobara needed to be there to justify her being there he could have just have had sukuna running on fumes because he'd just fought half the cast of the manga for fuckin ages, but he chose the nobara option to revive her for fanservice

@HubPointless mha's was sincerely fine (not great) people just threw a hissy because they wanted their baby boy to have super strength csm's is fine on its own the arc that we followed to get there let it down somewhat

When was the last time a mainstream big manga had a good ending

@PLOT_IS @UncleHuss1 this IMO was my problem with it it felt insanely convenient that she just so happened to get up within minutes of the critical time when they needed her it meant that she was thrown out if 2/3rds of the story for primarily a hype return moment and deus ex machina save

@hellhound33334 @Soraismyson i find csm part 1 plays to his strengths (compelling character writing, somber quiet moments with bursts of insanity) so well that part 1 at its peaks generally outshines jjk at it's peaks for me so for my personal enjoyment as a reader it roughly evens out

@SAINT_GVCCI @nikicaga we as the audience know this the wider world it is massively in dispute, and legally the systems in place still recognized joffery's claim as legitimate renly's point was stannis hadn't proven it and thus legally stannis was also usurping

@A_Good_Handle @nikicaga Stannis was the rightful King at that point though. Robert had no legitimate children therefore the eldest of his Brothers has the best claim

Yeah the whole "Renly is of no real substance" thing seems like clear cope to me I'm not sure what sort of King he'd be, but he was clearly pretty smart

@Frank_Astral @nikicaga and from a personal standpoint, as far as renly is concerned stannis just left him to die in king's landing when he KNEW an anti-baratheon conspiracy was active it makes plenty of sense why he wouldn't want to act under his brother given that circumstance

@Frank_Astral @nikicaga legally speaking, stannis is also usurping, he would need to get the incest accepted by the majority of the realm for that to not practically be the case his army is bigger, he loses the reach if he throws in with stannis, renly is making what is logistically the best play
