In an interview at the ADB-Asian Think Tank Development Forum in Suva, I discussed how it would be good to support diversification in Fiji so that it’s not completely dependent on tourism. At the same time, the economy should also build on its success in that sector and continue to invest in tourism in a sustainable way. Some sectors Fiji could further develop include agro-processing, commercial agriculture, and business process outsourcing.
