I only share this devastating moment in life as a reminder to not take our health, friends and family for granted. Please let those around you that you love them. @GeologicalSETI @disclosureorg Our science budget has been cut in half, in addition to the administration essentially telling us that we can only focus on getting humans to the moon and Mars. Logic isn't at play anymore. Sadly, a new org isn't out of the question at this point. 😔

According to Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb, NASA’s latest 3I/ATLAS press briefing offered nothing new. If NASA isn’t willing to share data with the public, should Congress consider creating a new space agency that actually shares information with the people who fund it?

@4biddnKnowledge Nobody ever claimed it was the best. It was simply an image from a Mars orbiter, which, by itself, is very cool. Since you're hip to the budget, you also know that NASA's science budget was cut in half, and it was directed to solely focus on moon and Mars missions.

NASA'S budget was approximately $25.4 billion in 2024, most of it was for images and videos of objects in space. Here are they're best images of 3IATLAS. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@theblackvault It's fun being on the other side, having already seen them. ☄️ Ultimately, space imagery is hard, especially imaging something like a comet. The general public expects some high-res, ultra-high-def photo w intricate details. That's not how it works. So most will be disappointed.

Few more hours to see the new 3I/ATLAS images reveal by NASA. I'm curious how different they really are going to be then the last ones? Maybe an extra few pixels?

@disclosureorg NASA has been shut down for a month. It's now getting up and running again. And it has a long history of holding news conferences related to things that have generated public interest. Nothing unusual about it. But the images are pretty cool.

NASA’s live event may be a reaction to criticism over its handling of 3I/ATLAS, but it doesn’t change the fact that NASA is still on radio silence for UFOs and has shared 0 images or videos of UFOs since 1958.

@DisclosureWith Not the bandwagon trying to force an alien/UFO connection, if that's what you mean. I'm just a space nerd who works at NASA. This stuff is cool, and images of an interstellar comet are rad.
