This is how my app just hit 100K downloads on the App Store 100% organic in 6 months. 📈 @rork gave me the tools to build it. No coding needed. But here’s the truth nobody talks about: every indie dev now has access to the same tools. AI builds the app for you. The only thing that separates winners from losers is distribution. That’s where the real skill is. That’s where the money is. Learn to distribute. Everything else is just an excuse.

$2k in 28 days. One app. Zero paid ads. No coding background 2 months ago. Here’s what I learned building apps with organic content: 1. Distribution matters more than the product itself. 2. A simple app with good marketing beats an amazing app nobody sees. 3. TikTok is still the most underrated acquisition channel for apps. 4. Most people quit after posting 5 videos. The real game starts after 50. 5. You do not need to reinvent anything. You just need to solve a real problem better. 6. Your first app will probably be bad. Launch it anyway. 7. Every viral video is data. Study it. Repeat it. Improve it. 8. Building in public creates trust faster than any ad campaign. 9. Organic traffic converts insanely well when the content feels native. 10. Consistency is the closest thing to a cheat code online. Two months ago I almost didn’t start because I thought I “wasn’t ready”. Glad I ignored that feeling.

i’ve been playing a lot with Apple Search Ads lately it’s becoming my main acquisition channel for my apps my current loop is pretty simple: 1. start broad i create a campaign with the keywords i’m trying to rank for organically usually the same stuff i’m testing in my title/subtitle then i let it run for ~1 week not in the US btw too competitive for me right now. every time i try, Apple just turns my money into character development 2. move the winners to exact after a few days, i take the keywords with actual signal and create exact campaigns around those not 50 keywords just the few that look like they might become profitable 3. if CR is bad, fix the product page first most of the time the problem isn’t the keyword it’s the icon or the first screenshot or the fact that the screenshots look “nice” but don’t stop anyone from scrolling clear text high contrast one obvious promise nothing useless A/B testing screenshots can literally double conversion rate annoying, but true 4. scale based on revenue, not just CPA this is the part i’m building AppSprint for Apple shows cost/install per keyword AppSprint shows trials, paid conversions and revenue per keyword and the weird part: my best revenue keywords are not always the cheapest CPA keywords cheap installs are not the same as good users would you optimize for lowest CPA or revenue per keyword?

@thesecara Fair point. Turn it on, connect to VPN before downloading TikTok and creating the account. Thanks for catching that 👌🏻

@AlbertoAIcode "Before turning it on for the first time connect to a VPN. I use NordVPN. US server." How can you connect to a VPN before turning it on for the first time?

My TikTok video just hit 30k views in 24h. 99% from the US. I’m posting from Spain. Here’s the exact playbook: 1. Get a second phone. No SIM needed. This is your US device. Keep it only for this. 2. Before turning it on for the first time connect to a VPN. I use NordVPN. US server. 3. Change the phone region to United States. Change the timezone to a US city. Match everything. 4. Download TikTok with the VPN already active. Do not download it before. 5. When signing up you should see the US phone prefix. If you don’t something went wrong. Start over. 6. Create the account with a fresh email. Not your personal one. Clean identity. 7. Your FYP should immediately feel different. More English content. US creators. US trends. You’ll know. 8. Do not post yet. Spend 2 to 3 sessions just scrolling and watching. Behave like a real user. 9. Switch to creator mode. Enable profile views. This lets you see who visits your profile before you even have analytics. 10. Post your first video. Keep it short. Keep it native to US trends not your local market. 11. Check analytics after 24 hours. You want to see United States as your top location. If you don’t, the setup failed somewhere. 12. Keep the VPN on every single time you open that account. Every single time. No exceptions. 13. Never log into that account from your regular phone. Keep the accounts completely separate. 14. Use English in every caption, every text on screen, every sound. The algorithm reads all of it. 15. Study what US creators in your niche are posting. Match the format. Match the energy. Not your local style. 16. When a video hits, don’t switch formats. Repeat the same concept with a different angle until it stops working. The US market pays more per download, converts better and has the highest app store revenue in the world. Most indie devs are posting from their home country and wondering why their revenue is low. This is the fix. Save it.

24,066 new users in 28 days. One app. Zero ads. $0 spent. Here’s the exact playbook: 1. Pick a problem people search for every day. Not a cool idea. A real pain. 2. Build the simplest version possible. Features kill early apps. Simplicity converts. 3. Open TikTok. Not to scroll. To study. What format is working in your niche right now. 4. Slideshow content over talking head videos. Lower effort, higher reach, easier to scale. 5. Your first 10 videos will flop. Post them anyway. You’re buying data not views. 6. One hook that stops the scroll. If the first frame doesn’t grab them nothing else matters. 7. Post every day for 24 days before you judge the results. Most people quit on day 5. 8. When a video works, don’t move on. Remake it. Same concept, different angle. 9. The App Store does the rest. Organic TikTok traffic converts better than any paid source. 10. Reinvest nothing back into ads. Let the content machine run and keep building. 11. Launch a second app before the first one peaks. Always have something in the pipeline. 12. Distribution is the only skill that compounds. Everything else can be figured out. Save this. You’ll need it.

Got early access to the new @rork update. This is a different level. The gap between having an idea and having an app in the store keeps shrinking. Most people have no idea what’s coming 🫣

We had coffee. Now we’re building. @PerezHatesAI moved in with me and we’re doing a full build in public from zero. The challenge: how fast can two founders go from nothing to a monetized app? No audience advantage. No paid ads. No shortcuts. Just the process, raw and public. Follow along 👀
Pedro Pérez@PerezHatesAI

Now that I’ve moved in with @AlbertoAIcode We were having coffee and thought… What if we do a full build in public from zero? - Finding the niche - Building the app - Marketing it organically - Monetizing it - Sharing everything publicly No audience advantage No paid ads No faking numbers Just documenting the whole process from scratch Who would watch this? 👀
