we had to reset 7 phones / 14 accounts because they were all silently linked through one common apple id.
- different phones.
- different accounts.
- different proxies.
didn’t matter.
tiktok still connected the dots and started flagging content.
the mistake?
after resetting the phones, we used one common apple id to download shadowrocket.
then we logged into a fresh apple id and used that one to download tiktok.
so we thought every tiktok account was clean.
wrong.
apple seems to fingerprint all apple ids that touch the device.
tiktok picked up the shared apple id history, linked the accounts, and flagged the batch.
so we had to redo the whole process.
- new phone reset.
- new apple id per phone.
- new tiktok download.
- new account with sign in with apple.
max trust setup.
painful lesson:
don’t use one apple id to download proxy apps across multiple phones.
it can link the whole farm before you even post.
lesson learnt the hard way, sharing so you don’t have to 🫡

Many people are afraid of looking stupid or making mistakes.
There’s nothing wrong with that. When someone points out a mistake I made, I just take the time and fix it.
This has happened many times here on X. Each time I took note of it, fixed the mistake and got better.

While everyone (including me) use iPhones for TikTok posting, I’m going to prove that you can also use Android device for it (or not, we’ll see🙂).
I’m going to create 3 US accounts using HMA VPN, warm them up for 6-7 days and will start posting.

Some people have asked what my actual profit looks like after all fees and taxes for this app:
- Total revenue: $6,000/month
- Minus 7% tax and 15% Apple/PlayStore/LS fee (22% total) → 78% remaining
- $6,000 × 0.78 = $4,680
- Applying a 92% profit margin (after server, AI bill, buy phone...) → $4,680 × 0.92 = $4,305.6
👉 Final net profit: $4,305.6/month

My second app just hit $6,000 MRR (across both app and web). I’m still sticking to my thesis: build 10 apps that each reach $5k/month, then automate everything so they generate income even while I sleep. Right now, if I exclude Apple fees, my profit margin is around 92% across all my apps. As I’ve said, I’m an indie hacker and solo founder, so I optimize for profit because I’m not VC-backed.
