If you’re not either WIDE OPEN or OPEN after the patch, don’t even try to fade on NBA2K26 because you’re going to miss the shot the majority of the time or get a wild, unexpected contest.
I’m not a huge fan of that reality. I’m a fan of there being a skill gap to the fade itself, but they did us dirty. It’s not the same at all.
Time to really learn the quickstop I guess

@AyCartiii It’s easier to guard this then the fading from everywhere lol , if u have speed and agility u can catch up to people and they can’t just pull up from anywhere , Its at its best but its not as bad as before lol

instead of fixing defense all the patch did was make park go from fading with stick simulator to dexing & l2 middy fade deep bomber with stick simulator
The patch absolutely fried high risk high reward modes and made the park play just like 2k25.

If ur doing well and thats ur main playstyle and u excell at it then thats it, it means it takes skill and ur part of the few players that can do that. No player in the league past or present is going 11/11 from fading. A buff will mean the bots will be shooting 10/10 just like pre patch.

I’m still doing 100% well after all of the patches I just want my fades to go in if i’m actually taking a good shot I could understand dumb ass braindead shots but if i’m wide open I should be able to hit at a consistent clip

Fades did kind of get too nerfed. The game feels like 2k25 2.0 all over again.
I feel like if i hit 2 fades in a row Wide Open, that If i was to take a 3rd one it would automatically be a miss.
Its almost like they reintroduced RNG.
