the Destiny 2: The Final Shape raid race is supposed to be fun to watch on Twitch. There are teams muting, blurring their screens, and now totally blocking the stream so you can’t even watch the raid race. Respect to @Gladd and the many other teams that are keeping it real 🙏

@SaltagreppoD2 They can’t unban him, unless they want to create a “case” on this matter. If you unban someone who’s had a cheating software (not D2 related) on his PC, you’re just creating a reason for every cheater to say “hey but this cheat doesn’t work on the game, so unban me”

Not what I wanted to wake up to but definitely something I was worried about. How are you gonna permaban a 4x WF gamer, after MANUAL review, for having an economy mod for a single player game in the background that CANNOT work on D2???

@LUCKYY10P @PaulTassi Destiny needs new loot. It’s a looter shooter, you cannot think that you can keep years and years of loot and not create something that is stale. DCV was a really good idea, but poorly executed. Since you have to create the core of the game anew, D3 seems a way better solution

I just finished reading that article from earlier today. You have some valid points and while I do think Bungie taking a break and developing D3 would actually give players a great game I highly doubt that would happen + it's entirely possible to steer this ship in a better direction with D2 currently. Which is both the less risky decision and the one that current players probably want a lot more than taking a couple years off

The problem I have with D3 being the solution to D2's problems is that no one ever gives any sort of reasoning as to why. Like what problem would D3 fix that D2 can't solve? As it stands right now the argument is "let's make the number bigger, surely that will help"

I'm still a huge believer that despite the tough road and huge sacrifices, indie development stands tall over big corporations & publishers who now overlook quality and hard work, just for profits. #savethegamedev

It's utterly disheartening and frustrating to see how many folks got laid off from big industry players, sent packing overnight after giving their all to these companies, during the year.

Just under 4 months ago, Venice 2089 won the award at the Italian Video Games Awards for Best Debut Indie Game. It's unreal how this was an unexpected milestone for us, and how the global gaming industry has grown this year too, seeing the release of many and GOTY contenders.

@DirtyEffinHippy this SOTG probably convinced me to not purchase Final Shape after 10y of Destiny. It's not even how bad is the state, what hurts the most is the disconnect between your management and the player base: it's like we're asking for vegan food, and you're constantly serving us meat.
