Orders achieved, Guardians! We asked for 15 million kills in two weeks, you delivered them in less than five days. Then we upped the ante to 50 million and you reached that number with days to spare before the official deadline! Zavala couldn't be prouder of how you have completed his original and escalated Commander's Orders. While we're getting ready to deliver your hard-earned Commander's Salute and Gold Stars emblems into participating accounts, Guardians can still participate before this Community Challenge ends on May 12 at reset time.

Update: We have completed delivery of the Animal Instinct emblem to the remaining qualifying players who were not caught in our first round. Thank you for your patience! As a reminder, you will need to log into Destiny 2 and check Collections > Flair > General to claim your emblem.

We have resolved an issue where the Vanguard Alerts Weekly Challenges would not drop the special masterworked weapon with an additional Origin Trait.

The Animal Instinct emblem has been delivered to players who qualified during Guardian Games! Make sure to check your Collections in Flair > Emblems > General to receive it. Please note you'll need to log in to Destiny 2 before the emblem shows as available on Bungie.net or third-party websites.

Zavala is indeed impressed by your performance and celebrates that his Community Challenge of 15 million PvE enemies defeated has been met in just five days. In light of this, he has escalated his Commander's Orders: reach 50 million PvE enemy defeats using the Vanguard-issued weapons he listed before reset time on May 12 to earn an additional, unreleased emblem for all participating Guardians. We'll reveal the second emblem in this week's TWID!

The team is investigating an issue where the Triple Laureate Hand Cannon's sound effects are not playing when used. To prevent an unfair advantage, the weapon has been temporarily disabled in Crucible activities.

To address an issue where teams can exceed the intended number of players, we have disabled the join-in-progress option for Guardian Games Supremacy activities.

UPDATE: The issue affecting the Flamecaller, Mindsculptor, and Death's Majesty Sets has been resolved. Players with them equipped should now be able to log back into Destiny 2 without issue. If you are still encountering issues, please create a thread in our Help Forum: bung.ie/help

We're aware of an issue where Steam players who log out with the Flamecaller Set, Mindsculptor Set, or Death's Majesty Set equipped are unable to log back into the game. The team has determined the cause of this issue and is actively working to resolve it.

We are aware that the Initial Calibration quest from Arms Week is still present for players who were affected by yesterday's Guardian Games event page issue. This quest can be safely ignored as it is not intended to be present in the current event and cannot currently be completed. We are investigating getting this quest removed from player inventories at the next weekly reset.

Following this morning's Update 9.5.6 deployment, the Guardian Games event page and Tower podium were not showing as intended for some players. The Arms Week event was incorrectly shown instead. The cause of this issue has been resolved and erroneous podium shields should be corrected over the next 24 hours. Apologies for the delayed start to Guardian Games.

@Destiny2Team Me & a bunch of people on my friendlist got their in-game names changed back to what is was before we got the free name change token a couple of weeks back. Happened in the last 48h.
