@AlecGLog Finish the sentence, brother! Are we to baptize people simply because they are far off as well?
It was those who received the word who were baptized.
The New Covenant contains no unbelievers and no one whom the Lord will remember sins against ever again.
English

@ThatGoldenChain No single verse says “Baptize infants on the eighth day,” just as no verse says “Only baptize those old enough to articulate faith.” But reading the whole Scripture in its entirety would make a stronger case for infant baptism.

@GuntherEagleman @0hour1 @HelmetLord26 I get the frustration. Division and racism have gotten worse, and politics keeps feeding it. But blaming one man or one party keeps us stuck in the same smaller campfires. Left blames right. Right blames left. And we all end up more divided while real people suffer.
English

@0hour1 @HelmetLord26 Obama brought division and racism back to America.

@AlecGLog @PatUnleashed The Lord is at work. Praying that He will use this to save ungodly heads of state and religious heretics alike.

Two thoughts:
1) Apparently, Trump reads the same way that Trump talks.
2) A sitting president just read a lengthy passage from the Old Testament about blessings and judgment from the Oval Office. I pray that the Lord convicts him to take heed to what he just read.

President Trump read 2 Chronicles 7:11-22 from the Oval Office today. When was the last time a sitting president opened a Bible and read it to the nation? I’ll give you a moment to think about that.
English

@WMCHerrington @PatUnleashed In no way was I criticizing your post, actually I appreciate the desire for the Lord to convict the President to repentance and belief.
English

@AlecGLog @PatUnleashed I’m well aware of what the LDS church believes. The poster’s theological beliefs are irrelevant to what I just posted.

@realmacotho @PatUnleashed Thank you and I’m glad we have found some common ground.
To illustrate my concern the post we’re replying to is from a Mormon who appreciated this reading.
English

@AlecGLog @PatUnleashed Franklin Graham is giving a gospel presentation when they’re done reading the whole thing.
I appreciate and agree with your assertion, but sometimes there needs to be a little pragmaticism. This is better than nothing. 🤷🏻♀️
English

@realmacotho @PatUnleashed I appreciate you saying that,
My concern is when you have a large platform and millions of people (including many who don’t know Christ) are listening, the gospel should always be presented clearly, Jesus at the center, not just the Bible as a book or a national tool.
English

@AlecGLog @PatUnleashed Agree with all that. You may want to look up America Reads the Bible. Their mission is to turn this entire country back to the Bible vis a vis Jesus.
English

@realmacotho @PatUnleashed The Bible isn’t a tool for events or politics. Every page points to Jesus. When we read it and leave Him out, we’re missing the whole point.
English

@AlecGLog @PatUnleashed That’s YOUR opinion. Nowhere in the bible is that commanded. Even if that were true, regardless, he wasn’t casually talking about the Bible. He was reading his passage of an organized event.
You’re telling on yourself. Anything to find fault and hate on the president. 🙄
