@KingJayZim Kugara Kunzwana was the one the plied the Harare Mataruse route, an ancient monstrosity of a bus. It was superceded by Pemeberai, a very slow Leyland bus, taking a whole 12 hours from kwaana @AlekeMukunga to Mbare. To be fair, the old Gutu road passed through plenty of farms.

Memories! Our bus to #Njanja back in e 70s ! Rutendo owned by Arcadia’s Queen,Mrs. Edwards! The family also owned Shiri Ye Kutanga buses. Among other Kedhas in e bus bizzness were The Pullens of Hwange Special Express,Percy Hall of Shu-Shine,
