@OperHealAmerica First Christians (whi were all Jews) didn’t see Jesus as God Almighty either. The term “God” was very well attached to God’s appointed representatives.
To them (and to us) there is one God - The Father (1 Corinthians 8:6) who’s name is YHWH and Jesus is his beloved Son
English

@isaiahburridge @jonlochquinn @kangminlee No lol the trinity is just a philosophical framework built by men using heavy Greek influence. 1st century Christians were not trinitarian
English

@jonlochquinn @kangminlee Christians worship the Triune God. We believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Whoever does not know the Son, does not know the Father. So, no, we do not worship the same God.

Ok what are we doing here

@AMFITRINITY @CertainSpeaks It’s very much relevant because they were the nation initially led by God
English

@AlexVvoni @CertainSpeaks P. S. Jewish interpretations are irrelevant because they eventually turned out to be Satanists.
#Talmud
English

@AMFITRINITY @CertainSpeaks The word “God/god” being plural is known as plurality in majesty, other languages follow the model too.
What does “one of us” mean to you?
English

@AlexVvoni @CertainSpeaks Yes the Jewish version has "God" in plural and after the original sin of Adam God asks him "How do feel now that you became one of 👉🏻US"
English

@AMFITRINITY @CertainSpeaks You would have to insert an assumption to come to that convolution from reading that. Have you looked into how thousands of years of Jewish tradition understood this ?
English

@CertainSpeaks In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

@AgainstAtheismX You just tell them it’s a false doctrine that’s all 🤷♂️
English

@Steve_AU69 Yup. We are dealing with the same here even at truck stops. Doesn’t have to be a remote area anymore
English

@jmwc3 @AlexVvoni @Truth_matters20 Apostles worshipped the same OT God (of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob) as Jesus' Father.Peter: "The God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob... has glorified his servant Jesus" (Acts 3:13).They prayed: "Sovereign Lord... you made heaven & earth" (Acts 4:24, cf. Ps 2).Devoted to prayer to Him.

I love Mormons, but I will not lie to them and pretend that their religion is Christianity. Their religion does NOT accept these truths:
1. The Bible is the only word of God
2. God's nature is triune
3. Jesus is eternal & wasn't created
4. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone.
English

@taco_talks The God of the OT is indeed the same God as the one in the NT.
Jesus’ Father himself
English

@jmwc3 @Truth_matters20 I see what you’re saying.
It was a typo in fact
Notice how you didn’t* say 2000 years.
English

@AlexVvoni @Truth_matters20 You wanna delete that and try again without the significant typo?
English

@jmwc3 @Truth_matters20 Notice how you did say 2000 years ago
That’s because it took y’all 300 years to form your doctrine
English

@AlexVvoni @Truth_matters20 Y’all lost this argument almost 1700 years ago.
