@emperorkimi9 @FatAdedotun Please no one will make that argument cause it both involved fit athlete of same career, it's just like arguing about exercise and saying that push up is harder that pull up. It doesn't make sense.

Twitter is indeed a leveler. Wow. In the fitness/practical session for my UEFA B Lizenz selection exams, after the crazy warm up (taken by ex Union Berlin coach), next up is a 5v5 (instructors were former Bundesliga pro). I was in the first set. 12mins. It was hell for us all! Including the semi-pro and pro players (they are still actively playing and super fit)!!! Constant movements, constant 1v1. No where to hide. GKs were instructed to not keep the ball more than 5secs. After we were stopped for the next set and went to get water, one of the semi-pro guys while shaking his said and breathing heavily like all of us, said "boah, B Lizenz ist Luxuriös digga" (English: woah, B Lizenz ist luxury bro); meaning it's not necessary and we were overreaching. We all laughed hard because we honestly felt super super exhausted. Well, we still had another round before we now went for a 11v11. All of us were super relieved to do the 11v11 because we know we can now properly catch our breath. You move together as a team and it's easier to have a breather here and there. I said all of that to say, I'm no pro and yet I can tell you it's way harder than whatever you think it is. At least the standard 5v5 at the highest level. Not our jeun jeun version. And it's so so laughable that you are arguing with a Pro who have been through the toughest training regimes in the football world and say he doesn't understand football. Lol. No one can thrive under the Scandinavian weather as a footballer and also thrive in Germany (best coaching system ITW), tell you this is what's correct and you just say "this a proof that one can be a pro footballer and still know nothing about football". Lol.
Somtochukwu Evans 🇳🇬@_Somtochi

This is proof that one can be a pro footballer and still know nothing about football. How you go talk say 5 aside hard pass 11v11? Do you know the amount of fitness training you do as a pro just to keep fit for 90 mins? Thats asides tactical training and gym work lol And before anyone comes for me, I’m sure other pro players would have a different opinion from his.

🎙️David Beckham defends Jeremy Doku against critics saying ‘he’ll never get that moment back’ 🗣️“I’ve seen some people saying Jeremy Doku is letting his country down by leaving for the birth of his child, and I think that’s completely unfair. Football is incredibly important, but there are moments in life that are bigger than the game. Becoming a father for the first time is one of them. People talk a lot about family values in football until a player actually chooses his family, then suddenly it becomes a debate. Jeremy has given everything for Belgium whenever he’s pulled on that shirt. Missing a match or two to be present for the birth of his child doesn’t make him any less committed to his country. When your career is over, medals and trophies stay in a cabinet. The memories of being there when your child enters the world stay with you forever. Anyone criticising him should put themselves in his shoes for a moment. I think he’s making a decision that any good father would be proud of.”

One match and NFF dodged a bullet ke? AFCON winner with underdog Zambia & Ivory Coast. 3-time coach of the year on our continent, Tunisia have called him to take over a team he didn’t qualify to the World Cup, barely knows the players. He joined mid tournament to work out something in few days. Bro was chilling in his house in Senegal before they called him on the phone. How did Nigeria dodge a bullet?

@blackveron What is it that you played in 5 aside that you can't play in full field? But let me tell you what you do in full field that you don't do in 5 aside, you don't have to cover 400m space all alone with full speed. You think understand is the same as playing professionally?

A lot of options has been shared in relations to whether 11v11 is more difficult to play than 5v5 and for most people who understand or played on a professional level will tell you 5v5 will expose all your weaknesses and that doesn't matter if you're a goal keeper or striker. Victor Boniface and many other professional shared their takes on this matter but we still have people with strong heads saying 11aside is harder than 5aside. The same Boniface advice you players who are looking to go pro that during your trial period you will play more 5v5 than 11aside game because that's where you can be exposed. The games are very different and the rules are as well but the major things about this games are the intensity to defend and attack the same time and even a goal keeper feel it the most depending on the space you're playing in. 5v5 will text your shooting, dribbling, decision making, defence ability, creativity, link up plays, and the mentality to win a game. There are variations to this games and you can play it based on what the coach wants to achieve with the training. But the classic 5v5 to test players conditions with the intensity and workload required for the meters covered, accelerations, decelerations, sprints, and heart rates and the lactic acid levels of the players are no jokes for any professional.
Abiola Dauda@blackveron

When you play in 11 aside games you don't touch the ball a lot and you have more time to rest than playing 5v5 games. 5v5 is the most intensive game you can play in trainings and that's where coaches pick their starting 11 for the weekend games. You also Argue that 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6, 7v7 are all games that coaches use for intensive training sessions and during this games that are played for 3-6min per games you get all you need to play in a 11v11 games.

@9ja_Ballers I like you ball knowledge, people are too emotional when it comes to issues of that has to do with them or the people they love. None of them was ever part of FIFA 11 at their prime. When someone is world class everyone in the football community will recognize them.

Kanu wasn't World class, he was an average technical player who was even part of the core players in the teams he played for. Okocha, you must be joking sha to call Okocha a World class player, he played for freaking Bolton. Mikel Obi, wasn't World Class, he is great but Top 5 DMs during the time he played at Chelsea you won't mention him. Stop being sentimental.
Lukas Not Podolski@OtitoNosike

Fact 1: Kanu, Jay-Jay Okocha and John Mikel Obi were all world-class in their day and, more recently, Victor Osimhen too. Fact 2: Kanu, Mikel Obi and Okocha all performed at the highest level for well over a decade. I genuinely do not understand what exactly you are driving at with this argument.

Valid point Boss, Off ball movement in 11v11 is genuinely underrated defensive transitions, pressing triggers, runs in behind that never get the ball. That workload is invisible on a highlight reel but very real on your legs. But apply that same logic to 5 aside and it gets worse. In 5 aside your off ball movement has to be INSTANT because the ball arrives back before you've even recovered from your last run. There's no 30 second phase where you jog back into shape. The game resets in seconds. Off ball running exists in both. 5 aside just doesn't give you time to breathe between each one.

In 11v11 a fullback can go 10-15 mins barely touching the ball. A striker can walk through phases and still look busy. In 5-aside? There is NOWHERE to hide. Every 3-4 seconds the ball can reach you again. You are involved in literally every phase of play. That's not easier. That's exhausting.
