Ole Miss would’ve crashed hard if they drew the Troy Super Regional. They would’ve had to stay In Montgomery (45 min commute) and stadium capacity is 2,500 (inc bleacher seating).

Hey, dumb ass— this is an area where people are allowed to bring in folding chairs and watch the game during the regular season. The NCAA won’t allow it for the Super Regional, so we had to bring in folding chairs.

@Hurricane_Jay26 There is no balance, it just altered the 6-8 teams that have a shot. What it will do is crush more athletic departments that try and compete and burn through money that doesn’t come back.

Here is the TRUTH about College Football... There has never been a time where the competitive landscape in the sport has been more balanced than right now! Stop pretending NIL created an imbalance and unsustainability. Tell me a time you entered a football season feeling like 10 or more teams can legitimately compete for a national championship and the margins were razor thin outside of the NIL era... We have coaches arguing in front of Congress talking about college football is unsustainable right now well let free enterprise dictate that. Just like the stock market if valuations are unstainable eventually the market corrects itself or a bubble pops. I truly believe these people don't care about these student athletes. College coaches have lost a lot of leverage and control and this is what they are salty about. THE END...

We are less than a week removed from Curt Cignetti speaking out on his concerns for the sport. In fact, he said “college football won’t exist the way we are going right now.” It’s not the message people hate. It’s the messenger.
