This man was only in the Navy for 2 years He now has a normal job and gets paid $5,800 per month Despite this, he also gets from the VA: - $2,070 per month from VA Disability per month (tax free) - He’s about to get an additional $2,400 extra per month from the VA for starting school again - He also is about to get the VA PhD stipend which is an additional $4,000+ per month depending on school He will get over $10,000+ per month from the VA for only being in the Navy for 2 years All paid for by taxpayers The system is broken Disability is tax-free and paid monthly regardless of employment or school status

Critics said it was thin and pandering. Families showed up anyway. The Tomatometer is a yes-or-no switch. Bohemian Rhapsody got a similar score and made $900 million from people who ignored the critics. Wait for the audience score before you write this one off.

Honestly, one of the most impressive $100M+ grossers this decade - original non-genre film, R-rating, difficult premise, released far away from awards season which usually gives those kind of movies a boost. A genuine gamble that’s paid off comfortably for Zendaya and A24.

I’m trying to understand the tariff refund thing. Companies raised their prices to consumers in light of the tariff charges. But now those tariffs are getting refunded. So those companies will just have wound up making way more money on the backs of everyday people.
