Seeing #ProjectHailMary for 2nd time and happy to report that they are showing both #DunePartThree & #SpiderManBrandNewDay teaser trailers attached to it. Incredible experience seeing both, but especially #Dune3 looks INCREDIBLE in IMAX. Visually overwhelming & breathtaking! See yall on the other side!!!

The funniest part is that FilmTwitter, as always 🙄, has tried to play the revisionist card with #SpiderManNoWayHome recently, constantly trying to diminish or even deny its mark and long lasting impact altogether. Even ignoring it’s literally the last A+ #CinemaScore a CBM got, and the fact that only #AvatarTheWayOfWater managed to be a bigger phenomenon post-Covid. Well, this level of anticipation is only possible when the previous entry achieved the unachievable level of praise and long last impact in who watched it, let alone after 5 years since the previous entry. Some People tried to reduce #NoWayHome to nothing more than a cameo fest or nostalgia grabber like it wasn’t a incredibly well crafted and deeply emotional cinematic experience, but #NoWayHome was much more and much bigger than cameo or nostalgia play. It did used those elements, and did well, something no other franchise has managed to replicate in the same level. But it represents much more than that to many people. FilmTwitter can try and deny it all they want, but #NoWayHome was indeed a special cinematic experience, far from the average one would think it was when reading FilmTwitter’s hot takes about it. But elitism against anything that becomes that popular will always be in play.

Meanwhile at US #BoxOffice, exhibitors are ALL IN for sci-fi #ProjectHailMary , giving #AmazonMGM their widest release since their inception, with 4.007 theatres booked to play the film starring #RyanGosling this weekend, on par with #Creed3, which also opened over 4.007 theatres back in 2023 and went on to a 58.4M 3-day opening weekend in the U.S, currently the biggest for both Amazon & MGM Post-Covid, over even #NoTimeToDie’s 55.2M debut back in OCT 2021. Industry is optimistic that Hail Mary will beat #MichaelBJordan’s record for both #Amazon & #MGM Post-Covid, with projections seeing a 60M-65M 3-day opening weekend for the sci-fi.

@ncbm91420 SPRING BREAK usually boosts only weekdays, since families and kids are free on weekends anyway, so although you can expect a strong hold as WOM is stellar, don’t expect for boosts during the weekend.

#Pixar’s new original #HOPPERS living the SPRING Break dream, about to cross 100M+ TONIGHT at US #BoxOffice, after another SPECTACULAR 3.7M on BIGGEST 2nd WED for a original animation in over a decade, actually up +27.6% (!!!) from last WED with positive WOM (vs #Elemental’s 2.9M, -19.7%, #Coco’s 1.6M, -21.1%, #TheWildRobot’s 1.3M, -29.7%). #HOPPERS  hits a 99.5M cume in the US. Eyeing a 180M-220M run in the U.S, depending on how #Mario affects it in APR.

In #Korea’s #BoxOffice, after debuting with $590k on #2 place on WED, new sci-fi #ProjectHailMary , received with overwhelming positive WOM, saw strong hold on 2nd Day, grossing $410k on THU, just a -30.5% drop from Opening Day (vs #Dune’s 285k, -36.7%), for a $1M 2-day cume, attracting 131K moviegoers to theatres in 2 days. #ProjectHailMary’s WOM remains strongly positive, audience’s score on CGV now with a 9.7🥚#GoldenEgg, equivalent to an A+ #CinemaScore (vs #Dune’s 9.3, #TheMartian’s 9.5, #DunePartTwo’s 9.6, #Interstellar’s 9.7),, and a strong 9.0⭐️ on Megabox. The film is now leading pre-sales for the weekend, when it might be the first film to take down from #1 the local mega hit #TheKingsWarden, which had been holding the #1 since FEB 4. MGM’s PROJECT HAIL MARY is a love letter to life, in all forms. Ryan Gosling elevates and illuminates every scene, as he often does. This has all the ingredients to become a blockbuster hit. Would be out-of-this-world to see the $200M+ sci-fi flick follow the star path that THE MARTIAN ($630M) and GRAVITY ($723M) did. For MGM/Amazon it officially launches their big budget theatrical dreams—the stardust cinema era. One small step for theatrical, one giant leap for MGM. Gotta stick that landing.

You guys simply don’t understand. #ProjectHailMary IS THAT GOOD. And I can’t stress this enough haha! I can’t wait to see it again & I can’t wait for y’all to see it once for all. I haven’t been this confident that a film would resonate with all sorts of people since watching #TopGunMaverick for the first time. Cinephile or Casual, doesn’t really matter, I believe PHM will connect to everyone in a way or another.
