Pretty pretty cold last night and still -4C now at 9am. Despite all the FUD and BS about heat pumps not liking the British climate, we seem to nice and warm. We must be doing something wrong? 🤷‍♂️ COP of 2.92 across the past 24 hours (range -5C to +1C). Those ill fated Energy Savings Trust trials that the gas grifters keep referring to got 2.8 across the "whole year". What were they doing wrong? Get a decent installer, find a @_heatgeek, make sure it's designed and installed properly. Heat pumps work 🥶🔥Fact. Thanks to @OctopusEnergy and @Daikinuk. House temperature is 20.7 constantly. Running pure weather comp (I think), 125kWh heat yesterday 42kWh elec 2.97 COP, 1850sq ft house. @HeatPumpAssoc @Zarch1972 38C flow. Outside -1 to 1. On track for big savings.
