@mersey_synth @JamesPearceLFC Yeah I support the club not the fans groups.
Over the years everyone has their own agenda and I just want to enjoy football without turning everything into an unnecessary situation.
Liverpool fans, we must compete at the top but we don’t want to pay a pound increase
English

@Andrewfulla @JamesPearceLFC Entitled to your opinion of course. So you will buy stuff in the ground?
English

Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan has written to all season ticket holders and members ahead of planned protests at Anfield tomorrow over ticket price increases.
"Liverpool Football Club fully respects the right of supporters to protest and we acknowledge those supporters who are opposed to this approach. But we would also ask one thing in the days and weeks ahead: that any protest, and any debate, is grounded in the facts - what is changing, why it is changing, and what it means in real terms."

Share this far and wide - on here, in your WhatsApp groups, on your social media.
No flags and Not A Pound In The Ground is the starting point.
If enough people do it, it will send a message to FSG: they got this one wrong.
@spiritofshankly and @_lfcsb offered to talk to the ownership again and that offer was ignored.
Fans said they wanted to protest. This is the start.

English

@mersey_synth @JamesPearceLFC I don’t think it can be ignored but I don’t agree with it nor will I support it. I wish we had this energy as a people to come together to protest about things that really matter not big men upset about a quid pay increase in football that they aren’t forced to pay for.
English

@Andrewfulla @JamesPearceLFC And you plan to ignore the protest (if there is one v PSG)?
English

@mersey_synth @JamesPearceLFC Nope but will be there with the gang on Tuesday
English

And now the prospect of four price rises in five years.
2024/5: 🆙
2025/6: 🧊
2026/7: 🆙
2027/8: 🆙
2028/9: 🆙
It’s also worth noting the context of the freezes: the £77 walkout in 2016 and Covid among them.
Without supporters’ campaigns the situation would be much worse.
Andrew@Andrewfulla
@spiritofshankly @LFCHelp @FulhamFC Ticket prices frozen in 8/10 seasons and you want to protest. This is short sighted to me and in poor taste.
English

@Andrewfulla See you outside the ground at 5pm and I'll say it to your face then you fuckin queg
English

@spiritofshankly
Guys I don’t understand what you are doing! This isn’t the season for any protest and you should already know this.
So many of us Liverpool fans actually disagree with all the points you’ve made around the ticket price increase.
LFC has consistently frozen
English

@spiritofshankly We have more important matters at hand as a fanbase then protesting over a quid
English

@polobear_88 You know I’m a Liverpool fan right? I have a different view but that doesn’t mean that you’re able to speak to me in this manner & I guarantee you would never say that to my face
English

@Andrewfulla @JamesPearceLFC Well done you on your 48 years. I imagine you don't go to the match so being against the protest is irrelevant really.
English

@Andrewfulla @spiritofshankly absolute shite hahaha. not a chance you go to games
English

English

@spiritofshankly Mate I do go to games I just completely disagree with everything that’s happening here
English

@spiritofshankly Hate what you guys are doing.
This isn’t the season for protests.
English

@KingPepeVI @JamesPearceLFC You need to grow up and stop living in fantasy
English

@KingPepeVI @JamesPearceLFC What a prick you are - why don’t you protest outside Tescos when you do your weekly shop!
English

@spiritofshankly @LFCHelp @FulhamFC Ticket prices frozen in 8/10 seasons and you want to protest.
This is short sighted to me and in poor taste.
English

@StevenD1977 @JamesPearceLFC I do see your point and pain and that of others with the increases. My only point in all of this has been the fact that every other thing in life has gone up and the fact that they’ve frozen ticket prices 8/10 of the last 10 seasons would grant that good faith from the fans
English

@les_jackson @JamesPearceLFC I understand and I’m not trying to be insensitive to the amount of history that you have being a match day going fan. It’s just actually Liverpool have lost £55 million over last few years, I made a loss in the same year they posted the £700 million revenue
English

@Andrewfulla @JamesPearceLFC They don’t ‘need’ to raise them. A couple of million a year will hardly make a difference to a turnover of £700 + million.
BTW I’ve been going to Anfield since 1968 and fully support the protest. If tickets had gone up based on inflation since then they’d be about £20 now 🙄
English

@TheFarm_Peter I get all of that but that didn’t mean that ticket prices will never rise did it
