Online now in @NatureComms nature.com/articles/s4146… We identify FTO as an endogenous negative regulator of PARP1 and the DNA damage response in cells beyond its role as an RNA demethylase. Thanks to Tianyi Zhu and @Joce_m6A, who led this project.

Excited to announce…..it’s finally arrived (!!) nature.com/articles/s4155… A big thank-you to my team (particularly @robertr33), co authors & #FutureFellowship funding from @arc_gov_au Importantly- a big shoutout to @drDJVDavid @NatureCellBio for their support. 👇tweetorial 👇 #VivaLaMicrotubules 🎉

Buckle in, it is #microtubule cell migration story time! We reveal a new role for microtubules as cellular sensors which detect and respond to compressive forces, enabling movement and ensuring survival in mechanically demanding environments; just like this little guy squeezing through here. 1/10

Superb and very important study!! As we previous found, calcium sensors are important for the receptor trafficking (AMPAR-endocytosis) and synaptic plasticity. This study illustrated Copine-6 has an important role of AMPAR-exocytosis and lead to LTP.👏👍
Anggono Lab@AnggonoLab

Our study that shows the neuron-specific Copine-6 as a calcium sensor for activity-induced AMPA receptor exocytosis is now out in @CellReports. doi.org/10.1016/j.celr…. Congrats to Anson @an5on_jz and Joanne @JoanneJangSE on your paper!
