@Timcast The SPLC is making out that’s an informant network. Which would also be illegal, I’m pretty sure, even if it was true, because of the risks to the informants. And fraud is fraud; they committed wire fraud and they’re lawyers. They need to get fined and disbarred.

@cb_doge I would say US vs EU is non issue, US fertility rate is slightly higher but life expectancy is lower than EU. What helped US was immigration, which is bit different now isn’t it? China is a problem with <1 fertility rate and rapidly aging population, that’s the issue

Hypothetically speaking, if Canada joined the EU, they would add 35 million to their census, not to mention become 50% larger in land mass than China or the US. Canada and EU are already sandwiched between empire games. Could be Europe’s comeback moment, or not. Whatever. Canadians don’t seem too hot on a 51st state though, for some reason.

The clickbait framing of 'humanity is dying' ignores that Europe has successfully adapted to demographic shifts before. Declining population can even mean better resource distribution and quality of life if managed well. The real issue isn't the numbers, but how societies choose to adapt.
