Maybe it’s me but I think one of the biggest ways to do better at tournaments is to have all the proper tokens and have them easy to access/find in your deckbox

Question: Should tokens be required for Comp REL? I’ve seen several instances lately of players losing track of the board state due to a Pokémon card or equivalent being used to represent a game object. Sure the other player agrees in the moment, but this is fairly necessary

@CodiCarrollMTG @LeFeverSax This is how it works because it doesn’t use a colon. If it was an activated ability, which would use a colon, then pithing needle would prevent the activation. Another fun trick is they pay the tax and fetch, and then you ephemerate the arbiter to prevent the search

What obscure Magic card fills you with overflowing happiness whenever you see it? For me It's Raven's Crime. Very unassuming but can be great with the right engines. A lesson in the power of optionality (similar to Port). A lock w/ & teferi +1. I love seeing slots used for it.
