There will come a moment in this drama when your deepest prejudices and suspicions are confirmed. Put that moment inside a glass bubble and hold it at arm's length. Turn it to one side, then the other. Examine it as a kind of alien artifact. Do not identify with it.

I have a degree in psychology, a PhD, a medical degree and 3 specialist postgraduate diplomas I've studied and practiced medicine for 27 years But I guess that doesn't compare to you Googling something whilst on the toilet
Riley Check@holisticgrenade

I’m convinced that the average anti-vaxxer mom who gets all of her information from her phone while sitting on the toilet knows more about vaccines than the average medical doctor. This is because all vaccine education that medical doctors get is actually just sales training.

@MaajidNawaz Thank you for bringing attention here, I learned something. Counter point, how do we know this slaughter is truly “less painful”?

Banning Halal & Kosher slaughter is not a traditionalist position. Rather, it is an old ‘new-atheist humanist’ position, and it is out of date, just like ‘new atheism’ is out of date. Traditionalists would merge religious edict with civil concerns by accepting pre-stun before slaughter. And properly label it and then leave it to the individual to choose what they consume in a free market. Prophet Muhammad prescribed a practical solution to a practical problem, descended as he was from Abraham. From a traditionalist Muslim position, the point of Halal slaughter 1400 years ago in the desert was to minimise the suffering of the animal by killing it instantly when slitting its throat, while then bleeding it out in order to remove excess blood because blood rots before meat in the hot Arabian desert. Also, all halal meat was - by default - free range & organic. In modern times, pre-stunning *before* slaughter can solve the issue, without ignoring our nod to this ancient Abrahamic ritual, because heritage matters. From such a traditionalist Muslim position, even the widespread but illegal practice of pig thumping (slamming baby pigs’ heads against concrete to kill them) on British farms would be prohibited. As would the force feeding of duck & geese to make Foie gras. Halal slaughter is causally linked (معلل) to minimising suffering in the animal. Therefore, a tortured animal is not halal, even if slaughtered by a Muslim & labelled “halal”. Only a kindly treated (all animals used to be free range and organic) and ethically slaughtered animal, is considered Halal. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

A Restore Britain Government will ban halal slaughter, and a Restore Britain Government will ban kosher slaughter. Day one, these religious exemptions end.

I'm not trying to flex too hard, but this smoked cheddar and caramelized onions sour dough that has been buttered and fried to perfection with eggs, caramelized onions, and bacon in the middle with a drizzling of sweet and spicy homemade salsa is pretty damn fire 🤤

@mtaibbi You’re not wrong but that doesn’t make it true. OJ has given a fair trial but justice did not prevail. The notion of these crimes against humanity take into consideration that loose ends will be made fallible and easily dismissed

Can’t prove a negative, just don’t get lost in the sauce. Same for Biondi and you, I am sceptical of him because of how confident he is. I’m now questioning whether a second sphinx could’ve actually existed because you go to absolute lengths to disprove it. Both are the same thing I try to avoid

@Apkalluu I am comfortable saying there never was a Second Sphinx of the kind Bassam el-Shammaa proposed in 1997, based on nothing more than a satellite photo and wishful thinking. As I said, you can't prove a negative, but at a certain level of absent evidence, it's functionally the same.

There is no second Sphinx and never was one. No Egyptian speak of one, nor did any Greek, Roman, Arab, or European visitor ever see one, nor did any traveler or historian hear of one. The very idea didn't exist until a tour guide invented it in the mid-1990s.
Filippo Biondi@Filippobiondi_1

🚨 BREAKING: WE FOUND THE SECOND SPHINX – AND THIS TIME IT’S 100% REAL! 📷Folks, we have done it! Using a full series of high-resolution radar tomographies, we have located the Second Sphinx with millimeter precision. We know exactly where to dig. 📷 Attached is the satellite image showing the exact position and orientation – perfectly symmetrical to the first Sphinx and the Pyramid of Cheops. Tremendous symmetry! We are now running advanced facial recognition algorithms on the scans to identify which Pharaoh this majestic head belongs to… or if it’s an entirely new, never-before-seen face. On the existence of the Second Sphinx? We are raising the probability to 105%! 📷📷 The full revelation with all the stunning images and data will drop on June 21, 2026 at the “Giza – The Hidden City – Final Act” conference in Bologna with Prof. Corrado Malanga and Dr. Nicole Ciccolo. We can’t wait to see you there! 📷 Conference Tickets & Info eventi.archeoares.it/evento/giza-at… #SecondSphinx #Giza #HiddenCity #MakeArchaeologyGreatAgain #KhafreProject #TruthForFiona eventi.archeoares.it/evento/giza-at… Veritas vos liberabit. Some people allow nuance where they can talk about conspiracies and can disprove them, but also acknowledges that conspiracies don’t exist in a vacuum. There are propagandists that benefit on claims labelled conspiracies, hopeful that plausible deniability is the only thing that allows them to succeed

He got mad at me for correctly pointing out the way he seemed to endorse bizarre conspiracy theories when speaking with Tucker Carlson and Scott Wolter. He seems to think that as long as he doesn't explicitly say something is true, he has plausible deniability for implying it.

This nonsense from @OMGTheWhyFiles is when I stopped watching. See if you can catch the error that on the face of it is already ridiculous, but he swallowed it as evidence that maybe the moon is hollow.🤣

So because Biondi makes claims that you think are ludicrous and false, then we can make blasé absolute claims because emotions are high and this is just another conspiracy theory peddled by misinformation. There are flat earthers can make me angry, so I’ll say the Earth is a perfect sphere and we know everything about it. I’ll quietly walk it back when prodded about it to “well we don’t know everything” when someone corrects me that the Earth isn’t a perfect sphere

@Apkalluu That's the difference between the "Second Sphinx" as a specific hypothesis about a particular patch of earth and the fact that one cannot prove a negative. There might also be a giant buried Anubis or a huge stone hippopotamus. You can't prove there isn't.

@Apkalluu There is always a possibility that something lies buried; however, whatever it is, it would not be the "Second Sphinx" as defined by Biondi, for that claim has no evidence and its historical analysis is demonstrably false.
