MISSING: Police in West Valley City are asking for the public’s help in locating a 31-year-old woman who has been missing since Feb. 14. Shianne Turner was last in contact with family on Feb. 13, when she told her mother she was leaving town to travel to either Las Vegas or Arizona because she believed someone was going to harm her, according to the West Valley City Police Department. Police said on Feb. 14 a male acquaintance answered Turner’s phone and told family members that somewhere in Arizona, she left with another man believed to live in the Phoenix area. Since then, Turner has not responded to calls or messages and has not been active on social media. Police said that lack of communication is out of character and has heightened concern for her safety. The man she initially traveled with returned to the Salt Lake City area on Feb. 19 without her, investigators said. Turner is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 145 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has several tattoos, including moons on her knuckles, an anchor on her ankle, “Karson” on her back and flowers on her hip. Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen Turner, spoken with her or has information about her travel between Utah, Nevada and Arizona between Feb. 13 and Feb. 19 to call 801-840-4000 or 911 and reference case number WV26-13416.

🚨 Home Depot, What The Hell Is This?! 🛑 Has anyone ever heard of this before? This guy’s been building for 37 years. Lumber comes in standard lengths: 8 ft = 96 inches. That’s always been the deal. Period. So why the hell is Home Depot selling “2x4s” that are only 92 ⅝ inches long? He bought 40 of them for an 8x8 shed build. Floor’s in, everything framed… then NOTHING lined up. Everything’s short. All his measurements are off. The plywood doesn’t fit. The whole project is jacked. He even started second-guessing himself — like maybe he was crazy and always assumed 2x4s were 96". But nope. These “studs” are short, and they don’t tell you unless you look close. And they’re not even cheaper — they cost more than the 8 ft ones! This mistake cost him time, money, and materials. So here’s the question: When did this start? WHY is Home Depot doing this? And how many other people have gotten screwed by this? 📢 Builders, contractors, DIY folks — sound off. Have you ever been hit with this or is this guy just crazy?
