Today we had a boat naming and blessing for 6 new-to-us boats - one we bought with sponsorship from Axis Wealth Management, one bought to mark our 30th anniversary, and four gifted to us from Upper Thames RC. Our gratitude matches their goodwill. More bums on seats!!

Ardingly's Annunciata is in 4 seat of the Shiplake College JW8+ in the final @HenleyRegatta tomorrow. She moved to Shiplake on a scholarship this year and it has absolutely been the right place for her. Can't wait to watch her race vs Headington. We are all very excited!

Two wins for Big Brian at Monmouth (shortened long course, and Sprint) ... and onto Hereford next weekend, when our Masters Women will also be racing at Peterborough Spring and we will be holding our second L2R at the Lake.

This Sunday we have Juniors racing at @BallCupSouth, Masters racing at @NottmCity Masters, and our Chairman @JwarrenJonathan is up for a Mid-Sussex Volunteer award.

WIN for our Esther in the composite boat - she reports it's a lovely Regatta with tons of competitors and all going to plan!

A very big THANK YOU to @RFoarsome for a generous donation allowing us to buy a quad set of @SwiftRacingUK high performance Sculls for our Junior squad. We have matched this so two sets are on order. A super start to our challenging 30th anniversary fundraising target.

"Take the arch starboard of centre" - "The one with the lamppost on it?" *all the arches on this bridge have lampposts on them* - "The one with the bus on it?" "Yes!" *the bus contraversially moves* Sculler goes through incorrect arch which now has bus on it...
