"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered." (Psalm 32:1) Amen. And when God covers your sin, you do not get to uncover it again. "If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) Amen. And when God has cast your sin into the sea of His divine forgetfulness, you do not get to come by with your trawler of selective remembrance and pull it back out. It is not yours. You have no rights to it. The repentant do not display their past sins as trophies or as parts of their "identity" or in sections of their testimony that they tailor for effect with repeated narcissistic recollection. "And then I..." "In fact I used to..." Just shut up already. This is to glory in shame under the false pretense of praising the grace of God in Christ. "What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death." (Romans 6:21) What fruit? Apparently the answer for many professed Christians today is "a great story, perhaps with salacious or suggestive details that get the reader's/hearer's imagination going" — this is, of course, by design. I will not enumerate all of the various designs that this describes, but I will mention that some of them are "fetishes" (=demonic fixations), and one of those is cuckoldry. More like "what shame"? St. Paul says "now ashamed." A blessed, chastened — and chastening — shame is the corollary of the peace of a good conscience which rests in the forgiveness of sins. And where such shame is lacking, the repentance is false. Sins are not all equal. No sin is equal to the grace of God, but that doesn't mean that all sins are equal to each other. Moreover, they are not "the same," which gets at something different. Sharing with someone that your conscience was bothered for years by the bookkeeping practices that you were trained to undertake as part of your job, and that you then finally quit as a result, realized how bad it really was, repented, gained the peace of a good conscience, and went to work for a new company... ...are you still reading this snoozer? This is simply not comparable to sharing details regarding your past sexual transgressions** — in any context, but especially in public. This is why 50 Shades of Gray sold in the billions, whereas no one (certainly no women) would read a book a book about an accountant's indiscretions. Let's say you're on a double date. Stories are being shared. Oh, we're talking about scars now, and how we got them. Tell me, is showing everyone at the table a scar on your finger no different than dropping trow and showing them a scar on your privy member? Is your wife showing someone a scar on her wrist no different then her pulling out one of her breasts? "But that's where the scar is, and we were talking about scars, it's just a scar, all scars are the same!" Silence, idiot. When reading Scripture, it's important to recognize the incidental assertions that are made, as it were, en route to the conclusion. For example, when St. Paul writes in Galatians 3:15, "Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto," he is telling us something about the solemnity of covenants, pacts, contracts, etc., made among men, even though that is not the main thing that he is teaching — in fact he is not teaching it so much as mentioning it as something obvious. Well, here's another one: "And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need." (1 Corinthians 12:23-24) "Wellackshually that passage is about spiritual gifts in the body of Christ." Congratulations, you are stupid enough to go to seminary. The thing which that teaching relies on is the understanding among all readers that you do not display your genitals in public. This is intuitive. All but the most depraved and degenerate heathen understand this. By the same token, you also do not display your genital misconduct in public. The first thing that Adam and Eve knew immediately after the Fall was that they were naked. The clothing of nakedness was the first thing that God addressed after the cursing of the Serpent and preaching of the First Gospel by making them garments of skin. ("Derp derp that was typological of Christ's sacrifice and initiated the primal pre-Mosaic sacrifi—" Great, delete your account.) inb4 I'm not effortposting about the wisdom of marrying former wantons, at least not in this post, as plenty has been said about that already. Basically, you shouldn't do that. -- **If you need to articulate these to someone, let it be to a trustworthy Christian brother, or to your church's pastor, if he is actually trustworthy (as in, if the description "trustworthy Christian brother" actually fits him — such shepherds are as rare as hen's teeth today, though, so beware). Let it be in the mode of "I am ashamed of this, I hate what I have done, my heart is grieved." Nothing else will do. Hear Christ's absolution and believe it — it is true regardless of who speaks it to you. And then let the matter lie. Do not continue to return to it, or even to the memory of it; return, rather, again and again, to the pardoning words of Christ. "But that's so hard!" Indeed. So don't make it even harder. Do what helps you forget, not what helps you remember. "But [our doctrine], we hope, is readily understood by pious minds, and brings godly and salutary consolation to terrified consciences. ... [W]e speak of faith in Christ, i.e., of faith in the remission of sins, of faith which truly and heartily assents to the promise of grace. This is not brought about without a great struggle in human hearts. And men of sound mind can easily judge that the faith which believes that we are cared for by God, and that we are forgiven and heard by Him, is a matter above nature. For of its own accord the human mind makes no such decision concerning God. Therefore this faith of which we speak is neither in the wicked nor in devils. ... "This faith of which we speak arises in repentance, and ought to be established and grow in the midst of good works, temptations, and dangers, so that we may continually be the more firmly persuaded that God for Christ’s sake cares for us, forgives us, hears us. This is not learned without many and great struggles. How often is conscience aroused, how often does it incite even to despair when it brings to view sins, either old or new, or the impurity of our nature! This handwriting is not blotted out without a great struggle, in which experience testifies what a difficult matter faith is. And while we are cheered in the midst of the terrors and receive consolation, other spiritual movements at the same time grow, the knowledge of God, fear of God, hope, love of God; and we are regenerated, as Paul says, Col. 3:10 and 2 Cor. 3:18, 'in the knowledge of God,' and, 'beholding the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image,' i.e., we receive the true knowledge of God, so that we truly fear Him, truly trust that we are cared for, and that we are heard by Him. This regeneration is, as it were, the beginning of eternal life, as Paul says, Rom. 8:10: 'If Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.' (Apology V, Of Love and the Fulfilling of the Law, 182. 229-232)

We’re now fully at the point where people are saying marrying as virgins is worse than marrying prostitutes. This is getting way more deranged than them simply telling young virgin men to marry prostitutes.

The issue with the war in Iran is that even if ‘we’ win, ‘we’ don’t actually get anything. There are no benefits to the average American, while he must bear all of the costs.

Satan doesn’t work hard, he works smart, he couldn’t care less about you if you’re on way down. Why would he? He only concerns himself with those on their way up. He locks on when it looks like you’re going to be a problem down the line. He sees you before you see him.

American is a healthy 28 year old, he decided to skip paying for health insurance this year because the cheapest plan was $900 per month with a high deductible He had to spend 2 nights in the ER without insurance, he breaks down the bill “This is my receipt from spending 2 days in the hospital: - It totaled about $24,000 - My CT scan alone was $8,300 - Laboratory, 6,000 - IV therapy, $1,020, $4,000 in total And while $24,000 seems like a lot of money, let me show you something. This is what I'm actually paying, $2,478 because when you don't have insurance, these hospitals give you a discount. They discounted $22,000 off of this bill” “But if I had insurance, I wouldn't have gotten that discount. So it would've been a $24,000 bill billed to my insurance, and then my insurance would've said, ‘Hey, you have a $5,000 deductible. You need to pay $5,000 for this last emergency room visit.’ Then you tack on the $900 a month that I'd be paying for that insurance. I'd be paying $20K this year for healthcare. So the craziest part about this is even if I have another hospital visit, by the end of this year, I'm still gonna be paying less than I would if I had insurance. At minimum, my cost for healthcare this year would've been $20,000 with insurance. Right now I'm at $2,400.” US Health Insurance is a scam

Going into the city to preach to the local virginity cult to turn from idols to serve the living God. I have been walking around for an hour asking strangers where I can find it. I asked a woman if she has been tempted to join the virginity cult. She said most women don’t believe in remaining virgins. I was stunned. “So you’re telling me women aren’t obsessed with remaining pure today?” I asked. She grinned with a look of surprise and chuckled.

Then there's the trash and empty Modelo cans left on the banks of your local reservoir. The night crawler containers left near (often in) streams designed artificial lure only. Rented side-by-sides ripping up terrain off-trail and causing fires. Poaching, on and on.

Many Whites actively seek their own replacement and destruction. In so doing, they commit a sin against nature and demonstrate the great "White delusion" unique to modern times. Eph 5:29, "For no man ever yet hated his own flesh..."

Facts from a liberal Brit on the significant rise of illegitimate Black children since the Civil Rights Movement. "A significant difference between the number of Black illegitimate children and White ones went back to well before the 1960s, though it increased markedly after the 1960s watershed. In 1960, 24% of Black children were illegitimate, compared with 2 percent of White children. By 1991, the figures of illegitimate births were 68% of all births for Blacks, 39% for Latinos, and 18% for non-Latino Whites. At some point between 1960 and 1990, marriage, and having children within marriage, ceased to be the norm among Blacks, while remaining the norm among Whites (though a deteriorating one)." - Paul Johnson, A History of the American People, p.972 (1997) The lesson? America needs to rethink the Civil Rights Movement. It was bad, not good—even for Black people. America needs a counter-revolution.
