🧵 Data for winter in Denmark 2025/2026 - November through February - shows the struggle Danish winter can be for renewables! Below is the Danish electricity load shown together with a doubling of our current wind and solar production to a level of ~130% of annual load (110% wind and 20% solar). A battery storage of 60 GWh (12 hours or 800k EVs) is used in green, currently Denmark is headed towards 1-1.5 million EVs by 2030. Energy is only curtailed of if the battery storage is full, this is called excess energy on the Figures. I updated the code so that battery storage is now being controlled to fill in the gaps where it is most needed with a local optimization, not globally. Just like in the real world where batteries will try to maximize profits. As you can see the total period comes out with 90.3% RE / 3.35 GW in 99% deficit. winter months have spread out periods of low wind where batteries cannot take care of the deficit as the sun cannot fill in the gaps. Winter is the difficult time in Denmark as solar production takes the back seat. The following Figures is the same data but with: Wind 1X, Solar 1X, 0🪫 (Annual production of ~65%) Result: 61.3% RE / 5.15 GW in 99% deficit Wind 1X, Solar 1X, 1GWh🔋 (Annual production of ~65%) Result: 61.5% RE / 5.06 GW in 99% deficit Wind 1X, Solar 1X, 10GWh🔋 (Annual production of ~65%) Result: 62.4% RE / 4.99 GW in 99% deficit Wind 1X, Solar 1X, 60GWh🔋 (Annual production of ~65%) Result: 63.3% RE / 4.99 GW in 99% deficit Wind 1.5X, Solar 1.5X (Annual production of ~95%) Result: 82.7% RE / 3.81 GW in 99% deficit Wind 2X, Solar 2X (Annual production of ~130%) Result: 90.3% RE / 3.35 GW in 99% deficit Wind 2X, Solar 3X (Annual production of ~140%) Result: 91.2% RE / 3.18 GW Wind 2X, Solar 4X (Annual production of ~150%) Result: 92.0% RE / 3.26 GW in 99% deficit Wind 2.5X, Solar 2X (Annual production of ~155%) Result: RE = 93.4%, 99% deficit = 3.02 GW Wind 3X, Solar 2X (Annual production of ~185%) Result: RE = 95.2%, 99% deficit = 2.77 GW Wind 2X, Solar 2X + 120 GWh 🔋 (Annual production of ~130%) Result: RE = 95.0%, 99% deficit = 2.50 GW Wind/Solar 1X + 1 GW Nuclear power + 🔋 Result: ZE = 80.7%, 99% deficit = 3.65 GW Wind/Solar 1X + 1 GW Nuclear power Result: ZE = 76.1%, 99% deficit = 4.15 GW Wind/Solar 1X + 2 GW Nuclear power + 🔋 Result: ZE = 93.3%, 99% deficit = 2.00 GW Wind/Solar 1X + 2 GW Nuclear power Result: ZE = 87.0%, 99% deficit = 3.15 GW Feel free to share this data if you like it. #dkpol #dkenergi #dkgreen #windwatersolar #energywende #energytransition #NetZero #energy #cleantech #WWS #windpower #solar #SolarEnergy #solarpower #windenergy #renewable #dunkelflaute #doldrum #Arpe

We – design the chips & hardware – make the cars w/ said hardware – collect real-world data at scale – train the real-world AI model – built (& continue to expand) the massive supercomputer cluster that trains it – deploy AI directly to millions of robots on wheels All that is shared with @Tesla_Optimus for broader applications in both the physical & digital world

@leRaffl I really hope it is not bias and just stupidity but we do see something similar in Denmark. I have not been to a Danish "TÜV" without them hating on my Tesla. They will always talk shit while checking in on it.

When you hear about Teslas failing mandatory TÜV inspections in Germany, remember it is NOT because they are badly built or unsafe cars. Rather, it's because of bullshit like this. They failed him at first because they couldn't find the VIN 🤦🏻‍♂️ You can't make this shit up.

@grok @LeaveDelaware Thanks! How easy is it to collaborate with other shareholders to get a combined 3% shares for a lawsuit?

In Texas under SB 29, qualifying corporations (like public ones) can set a min ownership threshold of up to 3% of outstanding shares in their bylaws to file derivative lawsuits. Southwest set it at exactly 3%, dismissing the 100-share (0.00002%) suit with prejudice yesterday. That's the key reform vs Delaware's low-bar approach.

🚨JUST IN: Texas just passed its first major test. A shareholder with 100 shares (0.00002% of Southwest Airlines) sued the board. A federal court just dismissed the case with prejudice under Texas's SB 29. In Delaware, 9 shares nullified a $55.8 billion compensation package. Texas built a system to stop opportunistic litigation. Yesterday, it proved it works.

We tried something. It didn’t work. And we took those learnings and decided to reward Articles instead of single posts. Articles have grown 20x since December and they are now the largest blogging product on the internet by traffic. In consumer product development, you sometimes take non-linear paths to discover opportunity.

Nikita launched this retarded feature and it was immediately forgotten and left unused. They have 60 employees. It’s beyond me how this guy hasn’t been fired seeing he clearly belongs in some big corpo machine. Elon lost his balls.

NEWS: Rolls-Royce has scrapped its plan to go all-electric by 2030. CEO: "We'll continue to sell cars with the V12 engines as there was demand from clients. The legislation has changed. That prediction was based on a different set of circumstances. We recognize some clients would rather have a V12 engine. The V12 is part of our history. For every client who is unsure whether our Spectre EV is right for them, there will be one that says ‘I love it’.” We can respond to our client demand … we build what is ordered.”

Pretty astonishing. In Texas, between 10:00 am and 4:00 p.m., 80-90% of electricity comes from carbon free sources. And storage is already a significant contributor in the early morning and evening

@Arpe_DK @RoamingNorway There were people lamenting the Neue Klasse i3 design while holding up the i4 as an example of good design.

Every bmw design gets hated on release and loved few years later. the i4 already completed this cycle in record time. Will this also happen with Neue Klasse?
