Tesla make charging FREE in Israel⚡️ When was the last time Shell, or BP made fuel free, to help people during war? NEVER! This isn’t just a headline, it’s a real-world example of EV infrastructure stepping up when it matters most. Tesla has temporarily made ALL Supercharger use free across Israel, removing the usual per-kWh fees entirely. That means drivers can charge nationwide, from north to Eilat, at zero cost. The change was rolled out immediately during heightened security tensions with no subscriptions, no hidden costs, just plug in and go, for FREE. This isn’t random either… Tesla has a track record of doing this in crisis situations, from wars to natural disasters, to keep people mobile when fuel supply chains can become uncertain or disrupted. There are around 17–20 Supercharger sites across Israel, each capable of ultra-fast charging. And it’s not just Israel… Tesla has also extended free charging to parts of the Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar) as regional tensions rise, showing this is a coordinated response, not a one-off gesture. Think about what this actually means… • No panic buying fuel. • No queues at petrol stations. • No reliance on tanker deliveries. • Just electricity…already there. This is the bit people overlook. EVs aren’t just about emissions or running costs. They’re about resilience when it really counts. Fossil fuels can’t match that.

@JordanEVGuy Halved the cost of charging through the early hours, but have sky rocketed the cost during normal hours to use electric

We all remember Mat’s embarrassing “Tesla handles are hard” video. Despite multiple videos previously of him getting in and out of Teslas effortlessly. So this isn’t surprising.

Carwow just released a new video to its 11 million YouTube subscribers titled: "Why Tesla Full Self Drive is Pointless!" @carwowuk misleads its viewers into thinking Tesla’s Autopilot is FSD, even though FSD hasn’t been approved in the UK yet. Autopilot isn’t meant for city driving, yet they test of bunch of scenarios that Autopilot wasn't built to do in the first place....

This doesn’t look like much, but it changes everything. What you’re looking at is an evpzee lamppost charger. It is the smartest solution to one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption. A standard street lamp, quietly turned into an EV charger. No digging up roads, it is installed in just 30 minutes. No huge infrastructure projects, a full street can be electrified in a matter of hours. Manufactured and assembled in the UK and fully OCPP. Using what’s already there. For millions of people across the UK, especially those without driveways, this is the difference between “I can’t have an EV” and “actually…I can.” It’s easy to overlook innovations like this because they’re not flashy. No 350kW ultra-rapid chargers. No massive charging hubs. Just practical, scalable, everyday infrastructure doing exactly what it needs to do. And that’s the point. The EV transition will be be driven by everyone having the ability to charge when they need to. Simple. Effective.

Why are you lying online? The facts are there. Call up ubitiricty, all the London borough councils and ask to speak to the head of street lighting, Siemens, Volkers and ask them if what I say is true. You can then come back and apologise. I worked with all of the above. Have you?

@RossBinkley @JordanEVGuy They don't it's yet another massaging of figures from onenof the worst EVangelical accounts out there. It also assume that there is a lampost for every 2 cars. Reality is there's a single lampost every 60m+ in many places.

@gbtmiet Nobody said it was straight forward or that all lampposts can and will be used. Surveys are done.

The largest gas field in the world has been bombed. The South Pars gas field in Iran is completely ablaze, proving that a reliance on fossil fuel is unstable. The only way the UK achieves energy security is through renewables.

@JordanEVGuy That’s simply false Jordan. Please stop spreading misinformation. The UK’s renewables contribution to energy consumption in the UK is nowhere near 50%.

@JordanEVGuy Wrong. But you know that. Renewables are growing, but they're not at 70%. Why lie?

@JordanEVGuy No its not, its 50% of electric generation. Oil still makes up 70% of energy in this country.

I didn’t ignore it, I didn’t see it. The fact you think people are spending more because of the standing charge is ludicrous. EV drivers were already saving huge amounts of money, and it just became even more. I’ll happily pay a few extra pence for the standing charge and peak rate. Having the six hour off peak window at 3.5p completely destroys your argument.

@JordanEVGuy Yes, but as I said yesterday, and you ignored, their day rate and standing charges are through the roof so not really a saving overall!
