Honestly think about it, Bernardo kicked a player who was down, it’s a clear violent conduct. Ref can miss it, okay. Why didn’t VAR intervene? You already know the answer.

@GeoffArsenal @pgmol And for what it's worth, my personal opinion is it's an extremely stupid foul to have made, was 100% intentional. But there is no way it's more than a yellow card.

@GeoffArsenal @pgmol The only person I've seen say it was anywhere near correct was Mike Dean (on sky) and that was his referee/var natural instinct to spin and protect. Had this been Sunday 4:30 and sky been able to set the tone, we 100% would have been told it was a correct call.
