A red wave swept the Brigade Parade Ground today as Left ogranisations representing the struggling masses of West Bengal demonstrated the power of the people. Speaking at the rally, #CPIM Polit Bureau member and @CPIM_WESTBENGAL State Secretary Comrade @salimdotcomrade said that millions across the state have taken to the streets in the fight for justice and fairness. He condemned the state government for trying to crush this movement. Comrade Salim hit out at those inciting communal tensions, and said, “Those who are attempting to disrupt West Bengal’s social harmony must be held accountable. We are demanding that the police be held accountable too.”

জনাব মহম্মদ সেলিম সাহেব, ধরে নিলাম যে মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার সামসেরগঞ্জ ব্লকের জাফরাবাদে নিহত পিতা-পুত্র দ্বয়; শ্রী হরগোবিন্দ দাস ও শ্রী চন্দন দাস আপনাদের দলীয় কর্মী ছিলেন। কিন্ত তাঁদের হত্যা করা হলো কেন? আপনি বলছেন ওনারা দাঙ্গা রুখতে গেছিলেন! কিন্তু আপনার বক্তব্য ও পরিবারের লোকজনের থানায় দায়ের করা অভিযোগ পত্রে উল্লেখ করা বিবরণের মধ্যে সামঞ্জস্য খুঁজে পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না। আপনার জ্ঞাতার্থে অভিযোগ পত্রের ছবি সংযুক্ত করলাম। স্পষ্ট লেখা রয়েছে যে:- "সবিনয় নিবেদন এই যে আমি xxxxx xxx, স্বামী মৃত হরগোবিন্দ দাস, গ্রাম জাফরাবাদ, থানা সামশেরগঞ্জ, জেলা মুর্শিদাবাদ। আমার স্বামী - হরগোবিন্দ দাস এবং পুত্র চন্দন দাসকে কিছু দুষ্কৃতি যাদের নাম নিচে দেওয়া হল তারা গতকাল শনিবার 12/04/2025 আনুমানিক সময় সকাল 10:30 আগ্নেয় অস্ত্র সহ কুপিয়ে খুন করে, বাড়ি থেকে বের করে নিয়ে গিয়ে। অনেক অনুনয় বিনয় করা সত্ত্বেও তাদের থামানো যায়নি। তাদের মধ্যে অনেক জন থাকলেও কিছু ব্যক্তি মিলে দু'জনকে হত্যা করে। অতএব মহাশয়ের নিকট প্রার্থনা নিম্নোক্ত হত্যাকারীদের কঠোর থেকে কঠোরতর শাস্তি দিয়ে বাধিত করবেন।" ওনারা নিশ্চয়ই বাড়ির মধ্যে থেকে দাঙ্গা আটকাচ্ছিলেন না। ওনাদের বাড়ি থেকে বের করে নিয়ে গিয়ে কুপিয়ে খুন করে। এই জন্যে নয় যে ওনারা বামপন্থী ছিলেন বা রাজনৈতিক শত্রুতা ছিল। স্রেফ এই জন্যে, কারণ ওনাদের নাম হচ্ছে হরগোবিন্দ দাস ও চন্দন দাস। আর যাদের বিরুদ্ধে হত্যার অভিযোগ আনা হয়েছে উক্ত অভিযোগ পত্রে, তাদের নাম গুলো হলো - ইউসুয়া সেখ, একবর সেখ, হজরত আলি, কালু নাদার, নুরুল সেখ, আনসার আলি। বাকি আপনি বিচক্ষণ ব্যক্তি, আশা করছি কারণ বুঝে গেছেন। কিন্তু প্রকাশ্যে স্বীকার করা আপনার পক্ষে সম্ভব নয়, কারণ প্রথমত আপনি যে দলের নেতা, সেই দলের 'ইন্ডি' জোট সঙ্গী তৃণমূল সরকারের সমালোচনা করা হয়ে যাবে তাহলে। তাদের দলের নেতারা সাম্প্রদায়িক উস্কানি দিয়েছে আর পুলিশ প্রশাসন হাতে হাত দিয়ে বসে থেকে এই সব নিরীহ হিন্দুদের মরতে দিয়েছে ও ভিটে ছাড়া হতে দিয়েছে। দ্বিতীয়ত, আপনি নিজে ধর্ম কে 'ক্রাচের' মতো ব্যবহার করে নির্বাচনের বৈতরণী পার করার চেষ্টা করেছেন (তবে পর্যদুস্ত হয়েছেন), এক বার নয়, পর পর তিন বার !!! ২০১৯ - রায়গঞ্জ ২০২১ - চন্ডীতলা ২০২৪ - মুর্শিদাবাদ এই কেন্দ্র গুলির জনবিন্যাস বিশ্লেষণ করলে দেখা যাবে যে একটা বড় অংশের ভোটার হলো সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের। তাই আপনার সৎ সাহস নেই এটা বলার যে, কেন হরগোবিন্দ দাস ও চন্দন দাসের প্রাণ গেলো, কাদের জন্য তাঁরা প্রাণ হারালেন এবং ঠিক কোন কারণের জন্যে প্রাণ হারালেন।

A young boy from Konnagar lost his life today following a road accident, after BLEEDING FOR 3 HOURS WITHOUT RECEIVING MEDICAL ATTENTION, a consequence of the ongoing protest by doctors in response to the #RGKar incident. While the demands of the junior doctors are both fair and valid, I urge them to protest in a way that doesn't disrupt essential medical services. Allowing a death due to PREVENTABLE NEGLECT is tantamount to CULPABLE HOMICIDE. If the protest has to continue, it should be done constructively, with empathy and humanity, ensuring no more lives are put at risk through inaction or neglect. 🙏🏻
