@LabyrinthCoder @kumxem Yes, but it's the potential for public engagement that assists you to express yourself, otherwise why not simply have a private journal? Yet this is common, as holding potential others in mind is a powerful & often necessary part of being expressive, in fact of being human.

Why do you keep posting on 𝕏 when you get no engagement?

@kumxem Nearly everyone on X needs an audience. We're hungry for an audience: people we don’t know, people we know, or posting for ourselves – anticipating an audience who has not yet seen us. The rest of us just love to audience — applauding with little hearts & cheering with comments.

@Be_Believing This is a brilliant visual example of how parents do a huge amount of emotional work attending their child's event, perhaps more than any other audience type. Why? Because you are the known or intimate audience, meaning "you are not just any audience — you are their audience."

¿Por qué la generación Z no baila en las discotecas? Parte de mi trabajo combina marketing con psicología del consumo y parte de mis clientes son «discotecas», clubs o como se llamen. Y es curioso ver en una discoteca que nadie baila. Todos hacen grupos, toman, ven sus móviles y a veces hablan. La razón es simple. Todos graban todo y nadie quiere aparecer en el siguiente vídeo o meme que se burla de cómo baila ni con quién baila. Así que tenemos a toda una generación que no se divierte bailando sino grabando.

@FowobiofLagos What gets noticed as absent often matters more to audiences than what is objectively present. This too can be part of the entertainment.

I finally watched MICHEAL… and I get why people are arguing. This isn’t a biopic. It’s PR with a budget. Jaafar Jackson did his thing, no doubt. The voice, the movement, the aura… he STUDIED Michael Jackson properly. But acting alone can’t save a story that’s scared of itself. They biggest issue? The film avoids the hardest conversations. You can’t tell the story of one of the most controversial figures in pop culture and then… tiptoe around the controversy. That’s not storytelling. That’s image management. It feels like the movie is constantly protecting him instead of exploring him. Every rough edge is softened. Every uncomfortable moment is rushed. Every question… quietly dodged. A great biopic doesn’t worship. It reveals. Think of films that show BOTH brilliance and flaws. That’s what makes legends human. This one just wants you to clap. The crazy part? There’s actually a GREAT movie hiding inside this one. The music sequences? Fire. The performance scenes? Electric. The emotional depth? Barely scratched. You leave the cinema entertained… but not enlightened. And for a figure as complex as Michael Jackson, that feels like a missed opportunity. Final take: If you’re a fan, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re looking for truth, depth, or balance… you might be disappointed. And that’s where the real debate starts. What do you think? Did the film tell the truth… or just protect a legacy?
