Having achieved his mandat I pay tribute to Lt General Mohan Subramanian, Force Commander of @UNMISS, a great and humble man who worked hard for the UN and the South Sudanese people. E.g. Dykes built and maintained around Bentiu saved and save the lives of tens of thousand.

The launch of the Disability Resource Center in Juba is a step towards equality of opportunities and an encouragement for other institutions to do likewise. The way a society deals with its minorities - with fairness or indifference - will determine its cohesion and strength.

I was honoured to be at the launch of the FES's policy brief. The brief has a + message: it is still possible to hold credible elections in Dec 26 if there is pol will and pol decisions are taken. NEC could then go ahead (eg voter education). But the time to act is NOW.
