Yes. Coming off the heels of FF6, which IMO is the best ever made, you get the first 3d FF in the series. I remember being in 5th grade during quiet time id take out my strategy guide to read. A soldier with a giant sword, a dude with a machine-gun for a hand, hottest woman on earth brawling, a fucking vampire, stuffed cat, dog... A game that worked on release. No microtransactions. No internet to spoil everything. You'd share new stuff you'd discovered with your friend that lived down the street that also had the game... it was a special time.
