Current environment is extremely hard to trade. If you look at it from a chess pov, it's a defensive phase. The market is attacking and your only goal is too survive until conditions become better. Liquidity and volume are low and the main catalyst is now news release.

The biggest mistake you can make is hoping that life will somehow spare you. Life is unfair. You have to attack or you’ll be crushed.

$NQ That's on me. We are humans and we make mistakes, slow executions like these are really a rare accurance for me but they can happen. I was not as sharp as i needed for top performance and those few seconds in reaction time cost me this trade. Beautiful setup though

And now market is aggressively moving lower without taking the high.. It's a very well documented and known pattern in the orderflow/AMT space, you should study it.

Live example of an Iceberg. I will not get deeper into explanations but study it.

This shows passive participation of a big participant. Institution, hedge fund, bank, whatever. Using aggressive buyers as counter party for there short position. And just to be clear, by "counter party" i don't mean retail of course :)

Weekly Profiling : Today's bias was on point, reaction to VAL of the Composite Profile + starting the fill of the gap. But, it seems like we rejected higher prices, and the value area of this day is gonna close with a D shape, supporting a break of the VAL of the CP.

@NoahOptions yes indeed. Honestly i don't even follow a process after a losing day, i know my edge and i know it's profitable if i execute it correctly :) but i do have a process on winning days, which is smth most people have the other way arround..

@AzadChosenOne Tough days like this are where good risk management really pays off. Capping at 3 losses and keeping it under 1% shows solid discipline when the model isn't working. What's your typical cooldown process after hitting your daily loss limit?

$NQ 20/01 Daily Report Today was a hard day to trade for my model. 3 trades total and all were losers. My maximum is 3 loss for a day so ended the day here. Total loss per account of arround 0.7%, very good risk management and good execution today overall.

Down 19k on the week :) that's a good start of the year..

Closed early but it was a good decision. Biggest week of my life in terms of money in the bank so happy with that. Have a great weekend :)
