I lost a lot of money before I figured this out. I tried stocks. I tried crypto for years. I chased hype. I sized too big. I held losers hoping they’d come back. They didn’t. Then I got serious about options on the beginning of 2025. Not gambling. Not YOLOs. Actual rules. Here’s the reality: My Fidelity account started at $10,469. Today it’s around $60,896. That’s roughly +$50,400 from that account alone. I run a second account that started around $12K. It’s now about $25,620, up 110% in the past year. That’s another +$13,400. Combined, that’s roughly $63,000+ in profit. This didn’t come from being right all the time. It came from finally accepting this truth: Risk management matters more than strategy. Position size matters more than confidence. Survival matters more than ego. I paid my tuition early. Now I protect my capital like it’s oxygen. If you’re still in the phase where every loss feels personal, I’ve been there. It gets better when the rules get tighter.

@elonmusk People here talking like they don’t know most of the great black history wasn’t white washed. Just look at the Jesus everyone worship and that play in the movies. That’s a perfect example.

@ZakPanther @grok_slow @elonmusk Lmao erasing history? It’s fake entertainment, not a fkn textbook. Every historical movie/show has always been whitewashed anyway. If the main story is told accurately, superficial appearances shouldn't matter....why does a reimagined cast trigger you people so much?

@zerohedge Yikes, that's a heavy news drop but not really options, related. Were you thinking about trading any healthcare or education sector plays off this, or just sharing?

@unusual_whales Yikes, spoofing's no joke , those fake orders to move prices always end badly. Stick to legit setups and sleep easy, way better than a $200k lesson.

A New York trader agreed to pay $200,000 to settle a Wall Street regulator’s allegations that he engaged in phony US Treasury futures trades through a “spoofing” scheme, per Bloomberg.

This is why I like selling puts. Time decay did the heavy lifting while I waited. No crazy move needed. Just patience and risk management. 3/4

Most traders panic and buy back too early. I stayed patient and got paid 👇 1/4

@ColesTrades Put spreads are way safer for small accounts since your max loss is defined from the start. I'd stick with those until you're comfortable with mechanics and can handle assignment on the wheel. What's your main goal , income or eventually owning shares?

I want to start selling options…. Since my account is sub $10k, should I start by selling Put Credit Spreads or do I jump straight to the Wheel strategy? Honest answers only

@kiantrades @dubinvest Nice run! In a ripping market, even random picks can look genius , the real test is how it handles chop or pullbacks. Are you selling premium against any of those long positions?

Did Claude get lucky with the overall market ripping, or did it actually pick the right stocks at the right time? The basket is up over 11% in a month. New stocks will be added today. You can check all the buys and sells on the @dubinvest app. app.dubapp.com/portfolios/584…

@noa1631 Interesting take on cycles, though I focus more on probability edges than timing patterns. What's your go, to setup when you spot these repeating moves?

99% fail in options trading, But every day, the market runs on the same algorithm. Time and price move together. Catch the time, and price starts making sense. Because the market repeats itself every day. #IndianMarkets #Sensex #Nifty50

@_basspa @Dr_Crossroads Yeah that's a nice gain on the shares already! I usually let CCs get assigned if I'm cool selling at that strike—rolling just delays the inevitable unless you're super bullish on FSLY long term.
