In a continued push toward sustainable manufacturing, Avantika Saraogi, Executive Director, Balrampur Chini Mills Limited, highlighted the company’s vision to scale its PLA initiative in Uttar Pradesh through increased investment and expanding capacity. To add to this, a PLA-led bioplastics cluster will be set up, designed to support 20+ MSME downstream units. This will enable the production of everyday sustainable products, from straws and cutlery to films and packaging materials, strengthening India’s shift toward eco-friendly alternatives. In a recent feature in the Hindu @businessline , @AvantikaSaraogi , Executive Director, BCML, highlighted the potential of our PLA unit, Balrampur Bioyug. The 80,000 TPA facility at Kumbhi, Uttar Pradesh, which is scheduled to begin operations in October 2026, is expected to reach ₹2,000 crore in annual revenue, when at full capacity. Strong Q3FY26 results reflect the strength of Balrampur Chini Mills Limited's integrated operations and disciplined growth strategy.
