The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved four major expressway projects to strengthen the state’s connectivity network and accelerate economic growth. The projects include the 333-km Vindhya Expressway, the Vindhya–Poorvanchal Spur Link and two greenfield link expressways connecting the Agra-Lucknow, Poorvanchal and Ganga expressways. Uttar Pradesh Government is set to introduce its first AYUSH Policy to boost investments in healthcare, manufacturing and wellness tourism across the state. The proposed policy, offers incentives for establishing AYUSH colleges, hospitals and pharmaceutical manufacturing units, while encouraging private investment in herbal farming and local employment generation. The policy envisages three key pillars PPP-based AYUSH colleges and hospitals, mid-sized healthcare facilities, and dedicated AYUSH Tourism Villages offering wellness services such as Panchakarma and Kayakalp therapy.
