2020: Jimmy outplayed two top 5 players in the league (LeBron/AD) while missing the 2nd/3rd best players for most of that finals (Bam/Goran)
2023: 8th seed Heat run into a top 12 player of the last 50 years at his peak (Jokic)

Why Butler couldn't just enjoy life in Miami, earn $48 million and play this year out and opt into $52 M next summer or opt out next summer and amicably pursue sign and trade with Heat's cooperation remains the mystery.
