There comes a point on every good holiday, usually around the second glass of wine, where you think “I should probably move here.”

@jmkirl rocking the room @BrIreCham was enough to bring me to back to @Twitter - this lady could do the Late Late. Fabulous job. Over to Tommie G in his own inimitable style but I’m biased

Some Rovers legends who've played for Shams: Pugh, Ndo, Doyle, McGee, Brush. It happens. The sky didn't fall in. Let the young fella get on with it, and good luck to him. #johnnykenny #bitored

On the tarmac for almost 4 hours. The situation is annoying but you could send the @AerLingus EI243 crew into any conflict zone & they’d charm their way out of it. A HOSPITALITY masterclass. Absolute Pros 👏👏

The narrative of London & the UKs demise is completely overstated. You can still get a train at 1 am, the streets are clean & more importantly safe at 2 am. There’s building going on everywhere & @TfL run a better show than most. The views aren’t bad either.

Right fellow colleagues & @LawSocIreland the charm offensive starts here. I don’t mind being put in the same basket as most degenerate professions but to be in the same basket as smokers. It’s a unwarranted low

@SusanHayes_ Very sharp & accurate observations. My brother in law & family live there. I still find it a completely fascinating place of complete contrasts. The Swiss are hugely proud of who they are & how they live. Outside the main cities it’s a bit like rural Ireland in jim it works

I spent the week-end in Switzerland 🇨🇭 and I was surprised by many things. Here’s a thread of my observations: (1/n)

@SteveBakerHW Steve there is nothing right about it but you are around long enough to know that this is representative of only a small % of the Irish. My analogy is that we never thought those who visited Dublin on 15.2.1995 represented the English nation. Let’s get bridge building.
